Maybe their clients sent in scheduling requests to mysteryshopping@ipsos.com and like everyone else, they didn't get a response? smiling smiley

I do think IPSOS' obvious lack of communication and appropriate staffing is likely to bite them. How they treat their contractors is going to be symbolic of how they treat their employees and customers. They acquired lots of customers last year, but little to no human or technical infrastructure to support it.
You can bet they are communicating and responding to their clients.

So, where are the shops?

I just looked at a hotel shop in Time Square and, in Sassie, there's that little link in the mid to upper left that said there were 200 nearby shops. I don't know if that's low or not.

BTW why doesn't that work anymore? You used to be able to click on it and see what the shops were. Now the pop-up is just a bunch of lines. I'm using Windows 10 and the most current Chrome browser.

You might look in Jobslinger and Presto to see if there are any shops near you.
Well, fortunately, there are tons of other MSCs that have shops in NYC. I never had any problem finding shops to do when I lived there. Are you registered with as many MSCs as possible? I used to do a lot of shops for banks, gyms, and airports (pre-security) in NYC as well as retail and restaurants.

I just looked and there’s about 192 shops in a 50 mile radius of NYC.

That’s really low for Ipsos-Sassie. There’s generally about 1100-1200 shops within that same radius.
yeah its only 15 round here usually its 50-80. lots of people calling for a recession/slow down. probably a very large number didnt renew their contracts. life goes on.

shopping north west PA and south west ny
So much for Ipsos buying up contracts.

Right now the only IPSOS jobs in my area are gas stations audits which I do not do. Not seeing any of the cell phone/electronic jobs that they usually have.
Ipsos looks thinner everywhere in the U.DS., YMMV

@AWitman Sorry, don't know, hope more show up soon for you.

Was just responding to Cassiespark's comment that how IPSOS responds or treats contractors is symbolic to how they treat their customers. I don't believe that to be the case. I agree they have resource issues, but It is highly unlikey they are not responding or communicating well with their bread & butter. Well unless it is a client they want to loose.

Finding a new client is by far a tougher road for them to travel than finding new shoppers.

@AWhitman

Sorry, don't know but hope they flourious in your area again soon.

I was just responding to another posters comment that stated "how they treat their contractors is going to be symbolic of how they treat their customer." No question shoppers sometimes suffer from a resource issue, but I don't believe they are ignoring or not getting back to their bread and butter (clients) in a timely fashion.
