ACL high end steakhouse

I just saw a high end steakhouse client with ACL in my area for the first time. Are they a new client?

Has anyone done it and is the report pretty much the same as the seafood chain? How does it compare with a Coyle dining shop?

I haven't done a Coyle shop in years after I decided that they were not worth it to me.

Con - Typically, no fee. Pro - ACL reports are formulaic. After you’ve done one, you know exactly what is required. Their dining requirements/reports rarely, if ever, differ.
I did an ACL steakhouse a couple of months after I started mystery shopping. I did a good job, but all of the timings and interactions were a challenge. Six years, and many shops later, I wonder if it would be easier?

I like ACL just fine. Yes, the no fee thing is an issue to me too. On the positive side though, they occasionally have interesting restaurant shops in my area. By that, I mean interesting enough that, fee or no, I would like to go there. So, sometimes I do take a restaurant or two with them. Also, on the positive, their reimbursement amount is generally enough that (ordering within reason) you don't generally go in the hole on their shops. That is an issue with some of the MSCs that expect you drop a few hundred, go in the hole in the process, but eat what they say and spend hours doing a report that they may or may not accept on whatever technicality. Why is that a good deal? ACL has a lot of them beat on those aspects.

If it's the same fine dining steakhouse that I have done for ACL, keep an eye out on the steakhouse website for gift card bonuses. Usually before the holidays you buy a 200 gift card and get a 40 bonus card free. The gift gard does not expire but the bonus card is usually good for about 3 months.
I've checked into this site daily for years and never done a shop with them and never seen that shop. I guess I'm too slow!

Maybe I'll do the colored crustacean some time for kicks.
In my experience the survey is very reasonable considering the reimbursement level. It’s much easier than a Coyle shop and the shops are quickly approved without the editor requiring more information. If you see one grab it immediate as they go fast.
It's only been a few weeks that I've watched but I swear those shops seem to go in 2 seconds. I wonder if the schedulers keep it for themselves, or just call their buddies/shoppers and tell them when it'll be posted. Understandable - not criticizing.
There have been several times that I wanted a specific restaurant shop for a specific day (like my husbands birthday or our anniversary)
I'll email the scheduler the month before asking for the shop and offering to take one of their harder to schedule shops in the area. Usually it's a scheduler I've worked with for a while and they are happy to accommodate. So that 'high end' restaurant would be automatically assigned to me & you wouldn't see it on the job board.

Are we discussing the location with a woman’s name first followed by an androgynous name? If so I did one of those some time ago but have not seen them populate the board for a while.
Yes, That's the one. I had never seen one here until earlier this week. I'm not sure when it was listed, but I missed out on it. At least I'm on the waitlist, but that never seems to pan out.

Here where I live not just the ACL shops but pretty much any decent fine dining or higher end casual dining shop is gone in a flash every month. I think it is a combination of more shoppers and less decent shops. Those that are left on the boards for more than a few minutes are the chain fast food places that pay below minimum wage with a reimbursement that does not cover the meal. I thought I would beat the crowd starting to look for Feb jobs around the 23rd of Jan but I was too late.
