Tired of Making Mintel Payment Posts

Again, none of my invoices have been approved and Thursday was the cutoff date. Again, I am posting to try to find out if other shoppers are experiencing the same problem or if it is just me. Again, there was no mass email to advise shoppers of a problem.

This kind of thing is happening way too often. Something is off.

I did a project on 1/22 and 1/23 that involved 3 shops. Invoice were all approved on 1/26.

All my invoices have now been approved. But they were not approved until today 1/27/2023. But my invoices are usually approved on the payout date and then paid out the following Business Day.

@MsJudi I am glad. Mine weren't approved until this morning.

@LadyMarius I go by the payment schedule on their website. Many of the cutoff and payment dates are weird.

If this were two years ago, I wouldn't be concerned but there have been too many payment issues/discrepancies. Also, just a simple mass email letting shoppers know when there is an issue would go a long way.
100% agree Buzz. All my invoices have now been processed.

Yesterday, I received this email:
"Hi All!
It's been brought to my attention that there has been a change of the Shopper payment days. Payments are now on the 2nd to last business day of the month instead of the last business day of the month.

With that being said, we'll be processing invoices tomorrow, Friday January 27th at noon, so please be sure to submit your monitoring assignment for January and invoice for $20. All panelists will need to do this even if they haven't received any physical, formula-related mail this month. Note: Invoices received after noon on January 27th will not be processed until February 15th.
Thanks again!
Jannah Muhammad"

Today, February's New P.O. Box Collection and Mailing surveys were sent by Josh Francy.

I intend to live forever. So far, so good.
I have a question about the baby mail shops.

Can you set up multiple e-mail addresses but use the same physical mailing address for any physical coupons or other correspondence?
@wrosie Great question! Please pose it to Jannah Mohammad and let us know what she says.

I intend to live forever. So far, so good.
@stilllearning I still have not received that email. I checked my spam and other folders.

I would feel totally different if I saw that email.
@BusyBeeBuzzBuzzBuzz Jannah Mohammad is amazing.

That email should have gone out to every shopper in the Mintel database, or at the very least everyone working on the Baby Formula Project. I was not worried, because my invoices have always been approved and processed on the payout date, but I am on the Canadian Project. I understand that is not the case for the American Project.

At least for the Canadian Project I have been told you can not use the same address more than once. That is why every P. O. box has to be at a different Postal Outlet.

I have not recieved the new Upload Surveys, which are our monthly assignments for the Canadian Project, for Feb yet. I have also yet to hear from Jannah about the project. I hope there is a formal introduction or at least an announcement when she takes over the project(s).But then again Anna never sent those out until the middle of the month they were to cover. If I receive them next week from either Josh or Jannah they will still be way ahead of Anna.

Wait, are the baby formula and PO box shops the same shop? I used my home address for the baby formula shop.

I always wondered what the multiple PO box shops were about and how I could get in on them.

I couldn't see renting a PO box for $15 a month just to get paid $20 since I'd have to go check it at least once a month before submitting my invoice.
In Canada you can either use you home address or a P. O. Box address to collect mail for the Baby Formula Project. In order to have several assignments you have to rent a P. O. Box for each. But an American Shopper or Jannah would have to answer that question for the American Project.

I've dealt with her before. Absolutely no complaints.

The only thing I wish she would do is have a link to the shopper login on her e-mails. I've asked her several times to no avail.

The links on he e-mails bring you to their main page. If you then click on login, it takes you to their client's login page. I ended up having to Google Mintel Shopper Login to find the page I needed to sign in. I'm using a borrowed computer right now so I haven't put any bookmarks on the web browser.
My understanding is that American shoppers may participate in either the home address or PO box address baby formula project, but not both. You cannot use the same home address or POB address twice.

Mintel fully reimburses POB rental fees and any shipping fees.

This is a good project. It was a dream when Josh ran it and it was also painless when Jon was the scheduler. I will say no more about Anna. I look forward to Jannah being the scheduler.
I did not receive the email referenced earlier in the thread.

You mention about looking forward to Jannah being the scheduler. Has the other scheduler been replaced?

Doing assignments since the days when reports were handwritten and faxed to the MSC.
I missed this part of your post. I have not received my February surveys.

Was that because of the old scheduler? If so, you won't have that problem going forward. smiling smiley

Did Josh really send you February's surveys already? I am surprised because that is really early.

JK. I actually don't know why, except that I had sent some emails asking for help.

@BusyBeeBuzzBuzzBuzz You may want to un-clutch your pearls and put the cork back in the bottle and savor the moment.

I made a mistake.

It's not a huge "I just found out I'm not Josh's favorite" kind of mistake; it's a "Josh sent me 3 more surveys for January (which I needed) and gave them a February due date", kind of an itsy bitty mistake. I was confused.

The "clearance" tag is still hanging from my pearls; I'm not sure the wine requires a glass.....

I intend to live forever. So far, so good.
