Regal Hospitality Group and Hotel Membership Points

Hello.
I have shopped for Regal in the past but haven't done a shop for them in a few years. In looking at the requirements now for hotel shops, any that I have been interested in state the following, "Must make your reservation without any loyalty or membership number you may have." So I assume that I can no longer receive points for a stay I do through Regal. Can anyone confirm?

Well, my first question would be, "If asked at check-in do I admit that I have a membership and claim the benefit?" Time to ask the MSC for clarity, I think.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
their standard rules are sometimes contradictory. best to check but they are pretty flexible
I can understand them not wanting the shopper to use "any loyalty or membership number" since using those brings over preferences, etc., and might interfere with the reservations agent making suggestions, etc.

I completed approx 1/2 dozen hotel dining shops for Regal 15 yrs. ago. When, though, I received a letter informing me they were changing the payment terms from net 45 to net 90; I terminated our agreement. There are but two reasons for such action: A desire to use my money as an interest free loan or financial instability. One is bad, the other is not good.
I think it deoends on the client. On a recent shop, I was able to use a rewards account. I did see the guidelines that you are quoting on another shop on the board.
I have completed several Regal shops recently, and adding the membership number at check-out is acceptable. You can still earn points for these shops.
I think they recently changed it from allowing people to not...if you look at the open shops they now all say you can't use loyalty of any kind. I wonder what happened.
You can add it at check-out. The reason not to use it at check-in is so the hotel doesn't comp your food and drink based on Elite status. It sucks because likely no upgraded rooms. Wales, at check-in, if the associate asks, the answer is no.

FYI RHG is SO bad with on time payments. I've had to follow up for my mailed checks almost every time when it's been getting close to 90 days. One of their schedulers is also extremely difficult to work with and unprofessional.
They did have a bunch, but got scheduled fairly quickly. I wish they would send out the emails more in advance so it is easier to plan travel.
They had a new scheduler added to the team a few months ago and the new emails started going automatically to my spam. You may want to check spam!
Goes to my spam as well. This despite clicking "not spam" on each one every month.

Doing assignments since the days when reports were handwritten and faxed to the MSC.

If you're using Outlook Windows Access or the APP, go to setting within outlook and add the e-mail address to the safe senders' list. I usually add the specific e-mail address and the domain, the part after the @ symbol only. That should keep all e-mails from that domain from going to SPAM.
