Ipsos self-assign and scheduling issue

This week was the first time I did this particular type of shop since you could self-assign them. I had scheduled it for Friday, the 3rd, but turns out I need to do it tomorrow, the 2nd. I couldn't re-schedule through the system, although I've been able to do so for other shops; it said I had to email. There's no scheduler for this shop, so it has to go through the general email box. I emailed yesterday. No response yet.

Here's the other dilemma: I checked the confirmation email (before I sent my email to the black hole) and saw that the due date was listed as tomorrow, not Friday. Email says one thing, shop log says another. In my email, I said I was going to go by the confirmation email and do it tomorrow.

It used to be that you could do the shop prior to the due date because you had a window in which to do it. I'm not sure this is still the case.

I don't expect to get a response by the time I have to do the shop. Do you think I'm OK doing it tomorrow? I can't imagine doing it earlier instead of trying to do it later is a problem, but you never know....

You kind of tied our hands for being able to respond to this by naming ipsos. One of the restaurants that they do, you must shop on the day that you pick. Most everything else is a window I pick the last day in the window and go on the day it is easiest for me to get there.

I was trying to be non-specific. I'm not sure that it couldn't be answered without outing the shop. If I'd put it under the general discussion, I'd have had to be more specific, and everybody would have known what shop I was talking about anyway! Because this has to do with their scheduling system and not the shop itself, it seemed most appropriate to do it this way. But I think you answered the question; thank you.

And, yes, it turned out it was OK to do the shop earlier, although I did get a flag when I started to input it. And I did get a response from IPSOS--after I'd completed the shop. But I have to say, that was literally the first time I've ever received a response from them through the general email box. Glad to see it!
