Mintel Baby Mail / PO Box Project

1. I hope it's not a glitch that we don't have to fill in the week and upload pictures anymore on collection surveys.

2. Gentle reminder: Submit your invoice tonight if you can because tomorrow is the end-of-the-month cut-off. Don't forget to add any box renewal costs.

I really hope the client doesn't add too harsh of a limit to how many PO boxes each shopper may have.

What do you mean, tomorrow is the end of month? When I login, it says my due date is 3/31.

PS, I am new to this whole thing and only signed on to the Baby mail project in January.
@shopnyc I am sorry. My previous post could have been clearer.

Yes, you have until the end of the month to check all your PO boxes and submit your invoice. If you do that, you will be paid in mid-April. There is a link to this year's payment schedule on the home page.

If you want to be paid and reimbursed on the next payment deadline (this Wednesday), the cut-off date to submit your invoice is tomorrow (Tuesday).

Since I renewed multiple PO boxes this month and already paid my credit card bill, I want to get reimbursed sooner rather than later. So, I finished checking the last of my PO boxes, shipped all the baby mail I received, and submitted my invoice today.

(I actually renewed the boxes on 3/2 because I had planned to finish checking all my boxes before the mid-March cut-off date. Then, my area kept getting hit by atmospheric rivers and bomb cyclones and I decided to take it easy.)
Oh, I guess we're talking about two different projects. I wasn't required to get a PO Box.
Just wondering about something - it was Jannah who signed me up, but now I'm getting emails from Kelly Russell regarding this project. Am I still sending in any mail I receive to Jannah?
I have no idea since we are on different projects (PO box vs. non-). It's best to ask Jannah or Kelly. I'm just a shopper, like you.

Oh, I probably will ask them, but I was putting my question out there to anyone who visits this thread. I know you are a shopper like me, lol!
Jannah seems to be retired. Another person is accepting mail on Lower Wacker Drive.

Well, if that's so, then it's odd that there was no email to let us know. Just all of a sudden someone else sending me assignments without even introducing themselves. Harumph.

Thanks for the info - how did you find out?
I am spreading rumors because my latest instructions had a different name at Lower Wacker Drive.

Mintel isn't on lower Wacker.... it's on Wacker, lower level is just for garage/ delivery entrances. Lower Wacker is basically a tunnel to get from one side of the loop to the other faster, and for deliveries.
If you're referring to Andy Dufresne, methinks that is a fake name so that baby mail does not overwhelm a real individual's mailbox.

Andy Dufresne was the main character in The Shawshank Redemption.

Doing assignments since the days when reports were handwritten and faxed to the MSC.
Luckygirl--that just shows my credibility or lack of it. I don't know why I thought the address was on Lower. Doh!

It just shows you aren't from Chicago. LOL
The address for mail COULD be Lower Wacker.... but the actual office is above ground. Chicago is complicated when it comes to maps/finding your way around. MANY shoppers that aren't from the city would have a VERY hard time finding locations when I scheduled for that area.
I am baffled by Mintel and their projects. What is P.O.Boxes and I am not throwing my credit score around for 5 bucks. People just rave and rave about them, but I have yet to see a shop/ survey to sign up for. I have registered with them twice thinking things would change due to everyone gushing about Mintel. Nothing changed. Thoughts?
After reading this thread I decided to dive back in with Mintel.
Just a question on the baby mail - are we required to get a PO box for it? I see everyone getting their PO box paid for by doing it, something I would like as I closed mine because it wasn't worth the increased cost (price nearly doubled).
It asked where mail was delivered (home) so I figured that is where it will come.
There are assignments for baby mail sent to your home and also assignments for baby mail sent to PO boxes. The old scheduler told me a shopper could participate in one or the other but not both. I don't know whether she was correct. Also, as I understand it, shoppers are not supposed to use the PO boxes for personal mail.
@BusyBeeBuzzBuzzBuzz I am doing both. There's also a third one where you forward your text messages to Mintel.

Do you know if the two newbies from last week are still there? I just received an email from Jenna Raithel..

I intend to live forever. So far, so good.
@stillleanring Ah yes. I did the text messages one but resigned because I was sick of having to ask for the survey multiple times almost every month. It's good to know I can do both. Thanks!

I got an email from Jenna, too. I have no idea if she is real or who is going to leave or stay for now. I am still contacting Josh if I have questions.

What concerns me more is the client wants to limit the number of boxes each shopper can have because it wants more diversity with zip codes.

@BusyBeeBuzzBuzzBuzz Oofda! Now I really want the Closure List before I pay to renew the 4 that are due on the 10th.

How many do you have? I have 9, which might change when the Closure List is posted.

I intend to live forever. So far, so good.
Where are you? All of my boxes are always due at the end of the month.

Please check private messages.
"Your PO Box payment in the amount of $88.00 has not yet been received. If your payment is not received by the 10th of this month, your box will be closed. If you have already paid this fee, please disregard this notice.

Payment amount: $88.00
Payment due date: 03/31/2023
Payment period: S
PO Box: 4251
Post Office location:"

I email Josh directly when I have a question. I have 10 boxes to pick up each month. I also have the monthly mobile app and text messages. The new changes are easier because we don't have to pick up by weeks A, B, & C. Also, we can self-assign new boxes if there is availability in your state (none in April). The $5 credit check is for a different project. I was assigned one and it pays over $400, if they give you the assignment.

I have not seen a list of boxes to be closed yet for the month of May, nor are my surveys showing. Anyone else having the same issue?
Unfortunately, it appears Mintel is sending the closing list only to those who are on the list. I wish they would send the list to everyone on the project. I had to ask if I was on the list because I had boxes up for renewal this month.

My survey links showed up just fine.
Once a month, I email Brandon and ask if any of my boxes will be closed. He's easy to work with.

I am doing a baby mail shop to my home address. This is my second month. I received a package my first month and nothing this month. Do I still get paid for the month ($20)
