Completed but not 'Received' ....argghhhh again for IPSOS!

Rant on: Can anyone provide me with a rational, plausible explanation why IPSOS has a bothersome practice of not including shops in its 'Payment Pending' group, and then paying those shops a week later, when there is nothing wrong with the shops? I am never asked for more info on the shops...it is as if they just didn't get edited, yet other shops, even done on the same day, for the same client, were edited, marked "Received', and then paid.

Editors are permitted to select the shops they will be editing for many of the MSC's. Unless the particular shop was a rush type, due to a report finalization timeframe for the client, the editor does not have to edit them right that second and may take a while. And for example, if a certain shop should be edited within 3 days, and they do it on the third day, it may miss the payroll cut-off date/time, even by a few minutes of finalization. And some shops require meticulous attention before finalizing. Sometimes there are details discovered in photographs that contradict an answer the shopper may have checked off in another question. But, the MSC you mention, pays faster and more efficiently than any other, IMHO.

I know I did 15 shops for the same client, on the same day. Well 8 are received and done and 7 are still just complete. They were all scattered throughout the day and submitted by midnight, just hoping they are edited today so I can get paid by Tuesday.

My shops that were completed on the 3rd are still sitting in "complete" mode. I know these were quarterly shops, but if I waited 5 days to submit I would be in big trouble. The thing that really sucks is that I was going to pick up 2 days of quarterly this week, but if they are taking a whole week to edit, I am questioning if I even should now. I know they are the fastest to pay, and I love that, but they have never taken this long to edit, from what I remember.

I have a couple shops sitting on the shopmetrics platform that still haven't been checked. I was hoping to get paid this week, but.. it'll most likely be next week now.

The sassie platform is all caught up, except the shops I did on Monday.

I'm guessing their cutoff date each week for pending status is fluid?

I know the acceptance timeframes can vary wildly depending on the project and deadlines.

I did a bunch of red/white/blue gas conditional reveals on a trip to/from San Diego this past weekend. I was amazed at how quickly they went to Received... seems like each time I would reach my next stop, the previous report was already in. The ones I did on the way down (Wednesday, May 3) just paid today. Maybe Wednesday is the cutoff?

The red+silver/red+white/orange+blue jobs I did on the same trip took longer to go to Received.

Currently the first one I did in my last series before heading home is still sitting at Completed, while locations I did afterwards are Received. Go figure.

Have synthesizers, will travel...
