It was a location that was short staffed, so the salesperson closed the store for an hour and a half , midday, on a weekday(!), and posted a crudely handwritten sign on the door which said "Closed for lunch, back at 1:30".
Well, guess what?, I waited from 1:12 until 1:40, and the employee had not returned, so I left and submitted the report.

Appropos of nothing but still a "shake my head" moment.... there is an apartment mystery shopping company that paid me $5 for a shop once. The way it was supposed to go is that you placed your call, talked to them and then went and did a tour. Well, I guess the staff was screening calls because they would not answer the phone after literally trying every business day for two weeks. I made over 20 calls in 2 weeks on their recorded line. Half way through, they told me to call the direct number then, make an excuse to disconnect, and call back on the recorded line. LOL... Anyway...they would never answer the phone. After 20 calls...$5.00. I've enjoyed a fruitful relationship with the company before and after this but that really just made me laugh.
