Definitely putting on the squeeze. But, seeing as they've never been worth it for base pay, I'll wait for more remote locations to bonus up. Was able to snag one last remote with a nice bonus under the old pricing structure for this Friday. Woot!

Have synthesizers, will travel...

I have to agree. Back to the days of CSI.
I'm not certain how they think $2 in a gas purchase in these days of $3, $4 and sometimes $5 per gallon of gas is reasonable. On top of that, it has become so difficult to find anything inside for $1.
This stinks, obviously.
But I am not so fast to blame Ipsos on this. I think it's the client. I don't know what the benefit to Ipsos would be to lower the reimbursement, but I do know the client may want to give away less reimbursed fuel.
I wonder how this will affect bonuses?

Oh, I'd bet there's a very profitable benefit for Ipsos. There always is. And always at a cost to us.
I am so sick and tired of lower gas reimbursements from green shops to teal shops and now blue and red shops! WTH is going to buy a half a gallon of gas for their car? Not me. Gas is 3 bucks a gallon in Georgia. I want $3!/1 full gallon. If they add 1 dollar to shopper pay and take away 3 dollars worth of gas they get to pocket $2 dollars a shop. We need to boycott base pay shops that are absolutely ludicrous. You expect me to take a picture of every single pump and look like a fool buying $2 worth of gas. KMA. I'm not going to do this and take a picture of every single pump for the same pay I get for a white, red, and blue shop with an indian symbol with 1 regular and 1 diesel dispenser!
In many places, $2.00 won't even cover 8 oz.

Water bottles are two dollars now, Chips are 2.50-4. Most stores do not have 2 for 1 chips anymore. Debbie cakes are 2 dollars.I guess they are trying to push us into paying 75 cents for a 25-cent piece of candy! Personally, I hate overpaying! I've seen Vienna sausages for 2 Dollars! Personally, I don't believe gas station prices are worth a hoot. I try to buy Arizonas, 2-for-a-dollar chips, or crackers with cheese or peanut butter.
The tubes of peanuts are still under $1. I don’t eat peanuts, but I can give them to someone who will.
All of the prior posts are accurate. Both the MSCs and mammoth oil clients are aware that shoppers fall into two categories: Those who need to work and the others who are only willing to work IF their price is met. It is possible a decision was made to ignore the second group and squeeze the needy until the bottom is reached.
this is awful... this is worse than the original fee because i considered the $5 gas part of it. so a million years ago the fee was already $17.50, and in 2023 it's $17. unreal
I am another follower of this thread. I have asked for higher fees and asked for gas allotment bonus. The schedulers are part of the problem by raising their highly touted increased fees by $2-5. Just not going to cut it for all the work involved.
Yet, all but a few really big stations are gone since they were released yesterday in my 100 mile radius. Oh well.
Some people don't even do them they assign them and hold them so no one else can do them. It will be interesting to see what pops up in the morning when the simple blue stations expire.
I have hungry, hungry shoppers here. Shops never get dropped and put back on the board.

seems like tons of blue white red stores are released, now they are willing to reimburse up to 1 gal of gas + $1 store purchase....but the pay is still horrible (8.5+7.5)

I am lucky that I just picked up like 3 shells when they were offering bonus.

Only downside is I drive an EV, and has to borrow a ICE vehicle elsewhere
It seems the hoarders are getting in trouble for not actually doing the jobs. They seem to actually be doing the shops now. Not as many are coming back to the board.

Though we had someone grab all of the green and yellow last week at base pay, all but 2 came back... lol.

I do a "few" yellow stations with a small number of dispensers (usually 2 or 3, but occasionally 4). I actually think the green stations are a ton of work. No editing team is as particular or as strict. I do them as well but I try to do as few pumps as possible.
My dream. I spend $2 on gas and the receipt does not print. I ask the cashier for the receipt. Then I spend 75 cents on the 25 cent each candy, and ask for that receipt. Feeling proud. Now I go out in the 105 degree heat and begin taking the pictures of 18 pumps that have multiple infractions on each one. Pinch me.

the $2 is even more annoying because there's a lot of full serve sites around me. i don't feel bad asking for $5, but $2 is just flat out silly, and i'm sure some of them will refuse to do it. all the looks from cashiers too when i have to get the $2 receipt from them because it didn't print at the pump(like 1/3 of sites)

Sad that the companies that post billions in profits are trying to squeeze the shoppers who are doing very important work for them.
