Caliber

Has anyone heard anything about Caliber? It is not listed on Volition. Does anyone shop for them?

Nice folks, they have very little here. I have done shops for them to check to see if demos are set up in grocery stores. Easy reports, pay on time.
I really like shopping for them. Lately though they haven't had anything in my area. I usually do a shop for them at least once a month, but not this month.
I do some of their taste test shops that are set up in a grocery store that I also do as a shop for another company. When the starts align, I can sometimes get both on the same visit. Easy shop; reliable payment.

Based in MD, near DC
Shopping from the Carolinas to New York
Have video cam; will travel

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
Caliber has grocery demo's for you to do I even did a wharhouse club for them. There forms are easy and they do pay on time also and that is the most important.
Caliber used to be known as Daymon. Good company, but there computer system is a bit slow.
I do a minimum of eight shops a month for them. These are generally supermarket, $14.00 each, sometimes bonused, weekend observations. The chain , at least in this area,is expensive and so I need to get the circular and plan, plan, plan. Deli and a realistic under the carriage item are the only required purchase.
The reports are fifty + yes/no ? and associate names or descriptions with a receipt upload e-mail and a small narrative. The data is mainly interactive , therefore time saving. You can easily do 4 shops a day between the required hours.Note: I only shop for two and the cat. So depending on your point of view you're earning $14 an hour not including travel or saving $14 on groceries. Payment arrives mid month via pay pal & covers the entire previous month and has always been accurate.

Only problem I've had was being assigned a warehouse shop that didn't have a demonstrator scheduled.

So now I stick to the grocery and have made Caliber a bread "n butter staple. ;<winking smiley .
They got the shop I used to do for another MSC, and lowered the age requirement, so, I would love to cotinue working for them, but cannot.
They are a good solid company.

I just started shopping this month and have only shopped grocery stores for this company. My two main stops are both between 1 and 2 miles from the house so it works great for me. The deli item can be as low as a 1/4lb of anything and i usually put a cheap bag of kitty litter under my cart and then return the kitty litter on my next return shop and either re-buy it or grab a case of water. They are easy to work for. They even arranged a clothing shop and grocery shop across town for me that were scheduled for seperate days into the same day on my request so that I wouldnt have to drive out there two days in a row!

I recently re-assigned with them and did a few shops yesterday...

Shopping Eastern Pennsylvania since 2009
4 NJ,NY,CT I've seen supermarket, warehouse & kool (sizes up to L, home accessories) clothing store chains
I usually use my underbasket for something like water or a case of juice boxes and then donate them to my kids' school for parties, or my cub scout pack. I also got so many cases of water I was able to supply field day for my son's school. I do about 60+ of them a month and do not need any more toilet paper! There were also weeks that in planning for my husband's 40th birthday BBQ I bought 12 packs of soda and just stocked up that way. I HATE returning items and don't want to start being noticed doing it and not be able to do the shops. I consider them more bread and butter now than MFI.
After reading this topic I went and checked their job board as I have been signed up with this company for many months and never saw anything in my area. Same thing happened today and I was curious what supermarket they shopped so I looked under other states and nothing. I even did a search for all the US and it showed nothing. What am I doing wrong?

Triple Platinum Certified - Shopping South Central Kansas
They only do weekends and the ones that aren't filled they take down until the next weekend when they are available
Irene-L.A, what has Caliber's age requirement been lowered to?

I so know what you mean suzieboz, I have seltzer cans on the floor, a closet full of toilet paper and paper towels. I read and adopted the kitty litter under basket idea. Need to think of a new cold cut , sick of ham or turkey! What's an MFI?
Market Force Information; I was anticipating payment from them in the early part of last week but they pushed it out again. I've got plenty of kitty litter too, I guess I could start stocking up on the cheaper gravel kind for winter to put down over the ice. My daughter is a salami fanatic so I get her that. I also get all kinds of different 1/4 pounds of cheeses and make "different" grilled cheese combos for dinner (they have a horseradish cheddar that is delicious on some sourdough bread for a grilled cheese!)
Supermarket? Bread and butter? Toilet papaer?
They only do a clothing store in my area. Purchase and return withing ana hour. Kind of a pain if you have to go special.

I hit what sounds like the same wall some months ago. Caliber is not on Sassie anymore but [www.caliberinteractions.com]
@Pat - I hate doing purchase and return shops and that one shows up here all the time too and I never take it.
I just started mystery shopping and caliber is the first company i have worked for. I have mostly done grocery stores and just recently did a clothing store. Thye are nice people and very personable. They even rescheduled the clothing shop on the same day as a grocery shop so I would be able to do both at the same time on my request since they were both 15 miles away.
I love this company! Pay is consistent, the shops are fun, and communication with the schedulers is reliable and fast. I would do a lot more shops if they weren't taken so fast. I check their site daily, hoping for shops to pop before I even get emails. Highly recommended!
I used to get E-mails, but lately the shops are gone by Thursday night. I shoulda neva praised them!

Actually it's good to see good things happen to good people.
I received an email advising me that in my isolated area, there would be jobs available the next week. I signed up with the company, and sure enough, I did five shops the following week.

Since then, there has been nothing in my area. I am certain when there is, I will get another email. Until then, the forms were easy, the pay was satisfactory, and payment ws fairly quick. I give them a 9 or 10. Would shop for them anytime.
It seems that everyone is having quite a few Caliber shops lately. I haven't seen anything in my area from them for months.
I believe 55 for the fun younger style shop...used to do them all the time, no more..... marijaldm Wrote:

I hate purchase and returns as well. So I try to buy something I hate and something I like, preferably on sale. I return the "I hate you" item & keep the "I like you" and leave the store feeling good. A true win win.... except that debits hit my account in minutes and credits days later, even when returned within one hour and fifteen minutes.
My personal favorite with the P/Rs are the stores that will not refund with cash even if you pay with cash.
I am also a new sign up with Caliber. Signed up one day-got job next. It was a survey for an auto parts shop. Not hard--pay descent. From the comments, it looks like I pick a good company!
