Fast Pay Fees

I just got paid from ACL for a shop marked as fast pay and they charged almost $5 in fees. The payment went to my PayPal account. Has this happened to anyone else? How can this be an incentive when it ends up costing you money?

Tough one to answer since the MSC was disclosed and we cant say the client.

Done less than 10% of my shops with them over the years. Ones i did do, usually only accepted $30 and up assignments. Never an issue with payout for me. I'd really consider emailing them since the received and quoted rate are different.

Unless there "is" some fee you were charged...which is a first to me. If there is and they did, I'd be the first to like to know.

ACL lost me a few months ago. I refused to sign their release saying that I wouldn't hold them responsible if I got Covid while I was shopping. As if I would know specifically who gave me Covid and where.. So I told them that I may not be very interested in working for them.

Since 2019 I've had Covid maybe 4x, along with family having a case of mRNA terror.

If...I were to contract Covid on a shop...it wouldn't be the MSC I'd view as "most likely responsible"...more like I'd drop $50 to 1-800Lawyer and see how likely the location owner is responsible.

Good reason to reread all my contracts and see if there is anything saying I agree not to sue their client for each MSC.

Yeah I’ve seen a few MSPs have a fee for issuing me a check or paying me through their payment system. It’s a hard no for me to pay any fee to get my money. I won’t even pay ATM fees. If I can’t get my money for free I’ll go where I can.
