cool new feature on Ipsos Sassie platform

Well, I went to look for extra stuff to do while I'm up north today. And I found that the format has changed. it only shows 50 shops at a time and limits the number of shops you can see to 500. And you have to go to the top of the page and change to the next page, there are no arrows or anything to make it flow from one page to the next without scrolling back to the top.

Changes like this, with no notice, don't work on a pre-caffeinated brain.

I noticed that as well. Not sure why they needed to solve a problem that didn't exist.
We have a saying in my family:

"Well, that's crap."

The search distance is also now limited to a maximum of 100 miles.

Can't blame this one on Ipsos, though. It seems to be a Sassie thing across the board.

Doesn't matter to me. I stay within 20 miles from home.
Well that sure is clunky. It was always nice to do a quick check to see what was out there. Not so quick anymore. I'll be checking less.
I @#$%& and moaned elsewhere. SO NOT APPRECIATED!!!

Is it also new that if you’re out of rotation you can’t see a shop at all? This weekend I did some Jack Network shops for locations that post multiple shops a month and the other shops disappeared once I was assigned. I know ACL and some other MSCs do this too but if you’re just a day or two away from qualifying it can be helpful to know the shop is out there as many schedulers are happy to break rotation when needed.

There are some shops on Ipsos that I'm rotated out of due to location and hitting the max number allowed per round, and I can still see those shops. I'm not sure about The Jack, though. None of the clients for my upcoming shops are showing up, but I'm not sure that means anything since I live in Podunk and pretty much decimated the job board a few days ago when I took everything available. Hopefully, somebody else will chime in with confirmation.

In Sassie you can see ALL of the available shops, ALL of the time. They have no mechanism for hiding shops from folks that aren't eligible to do them. They can only keep you from claiming the shops.
Maybe I'm just weird, but I liked having the ability to look 300 miles. I would then sort based on company, so that I could find specific clients. What I would really like to see is a filter so if I don't want to see cell phone shops or certain other types, I could block them. I know with the shopmetrics side, you can filter for a specific project. That's about the only thing I prefer with the shopmetrics side.

Were there shoppers complaining they were seeing too many shops that they limited it to 50 per page? These new things should be adjustable by the user.

My default radius is 20 miles, but when planning on being in another area, i would rather just expand the mileage instead of searching for a zip code and finding stuff in that area. Plus, I would miss all the shops along the way in between destinations.
Weird decision especially when you have shoppers who pick up hundreds of shops. This looks like it is just on Ipsos page too. Bare International shows me 75 per page and an option to go to the next page on the bottom. Intellishop lists 146 shops, all on one page.

The default search radius looks to be the max of 100 across the board. I used to occasionally search by 150-250, it was easier. I'm guessing having large radius searches was taxing on the ol' Sassie servers so they built in the limitation there.

I emailed Sassie once with suggestions - like being able to sort by paid or pay dates, status but they're probably more focused on the people that pay the bills, which isn't us shoppers.
what the heck has sassie done? can’t even filter by client anymore. always loved their job board but it’s a mess now

ath Power uses Sassie and this morning I was allowed to see 500 shops. I thought that it used to be 1000. 500 is plenty for me.

Maybe they're on the 2nd or 3rd page of results? You can only see 50 at a time then have to click on the next batch of 50.
Is there an email for anyone in control of the Sassie system? Can we barrage them with complaints?
This appears to be an IPSOS "issue" = an option that IPSOS chose to implement. Other MSCs using Sassie operate differently when it comes to the search function. Try the ath Power Job Board, for instance.
