MF January 2025 Payment

I only had 1 shop in January. It was one of those dang pizza shops. I feel for those who are expecting quite a large direct deposit. I would be p!$$'d if I was waiting for more than a $37 DD.

Yes.. me, waiting on over $200. I am calm, I am calm!

A good question is....who is not taking shops until they see payment come thru? I guess I am still willing to do a couple more before I might re-think it, but they have been good all these years. If they start to go the way of some shady MSCs, then I might stop, but for now I guess I will "trust" them for a few more shops.

If people "slow down" on taking their shops, then shop fees should rise (bonused more). I don't see it happening just quite yet.

I grabbed two assignments that looked appealing to me but there are enough days between now and then to either get paid or get uncomfortable enough to cancel.
Could it be that MF is waiting on payment from the pizza client? The pizza company has been in quite a bit of financial trouble and may not have paid MF on time to reimburse us for all of that "free" pizza! I found a recent article that headlined..."_____(company name)____ suffers unexpected loss as customers switch gears"

Maybe, but they owe me more than $300 and I didn't do any of the pizza shops ... If lack of payment from one client shuts down payment to all shoppers, that's a pretty vulnerable system.
Pay all the NON-pizza shoppers first if you are waiting for pizza client to pay up (if that is true)

Wow, what types of shops are in your area where you've made that much in one month? I have only made around $150 on my busiest month...

It's easy if you do enough burger shops with high shop fees (up to $35 from my own experience).

I only really do the bonused shops. A few $35 burger places, a few $30 mattress shops, some bonuses fast food places. Fees plus reimbursements adds up fast
It appears they're getting ready to pay me 2 of the 4 shops they owe me for. Two bonused delivery shops at $10 shop fee and $35 reimbursement.

At least I can't see them on the wesite anymore under assignment status anymore.

The other 2 done on 1/30 and 2/12 are still on pending payment.
Well thats good! Not sure how long they need to "get ready", but apparently its more than a month since they skipped paying anyone in February!
Anyone else get one of these?
An email apology claiming it will be deposited on Monday?
Market Force must be having cash flow problems....
I didn't get an email, but my January shops (February pay) also have not been deposited. When I looked at my payment preference, it didn't have either direct deposit OR PayPal chosen. I resubmitted and also sent a message to the help desk.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. Most of my shops are with Marketforce and they have never been this late with pay before.
I got the email. Surprised (but not really!) that the reply from MFISherri to the previous thread on the forum a couple days ago said 'no later than Monday' and the email says 'as early as Monday.' Doesn't sound like Monday is guaranteed, either, but it would be nice. Their phone callers say, "We expect your 100% commitment." Too bad that doesn't seem to be a two way street.
I got it too.
Their double standard of who holds up their part of the bargain is disappointing.
I got the email and thought it is not good news but I kind of prefer it to being ghosted on payment which has happened to me with several past companies.
This happens every single year. End of month, end of quarter, end of year reconciliations maybe.

I'm wondering how many dropped 5g shops there will be on Monday if no payment is made. Maybe we see quite a few hit the board because people were not paid by Monday as promised.

They have yet to fail to pay, so I'm not giving up on them, but there will be a time when it comes to "pay up or shut up"
Today is Monday, March 3. Still no $. Anybody get paid yet? I'm not going to accept any more assignments till I see money in my account.I guess Elon Musk laid everyone off...
I cancelled the three assignments I had scheduled this week. This is ridiculous. Going an entire month without issuing a single payment is a sign of serious problems. Especially since all (or virtually all) of their shops involve reimbursement.

Oh well. I need less fast food junk in my life anyway.
No pay here and I will not assign anything unless its bonused at this point AND after I get Jan pay.

In Market Force's case, I guess DOGE stands for, "Deadbeats Only Give Excuses."

I noticed a bonused shop for the burger client that wasn't on the board yesterday showed up today. Cancellation? I took it for tomorrow ... if I get paid by tomorrow. If not, I'll un-take it.

Before I post concerning a company that fired me, I always so state. Readers can then decide if I am being objective.

Folks, to my knowledge there are only two reasons an MSC does not pay as agreed. They either want or need to hold your money; one is bad and the other is not good.
Lol there have been times they've been late for 3-5 days but this is unacceptable. I've also noticed they changed the wording for 20th day of the month to 20th business day. ATP I'm done for this month and probably for the future. Canceled some decently scheduled shops and I better get my January and February payments.
Maybe TerminatorBob would be willing to contact all the clients directly and mention they are not paying their shoppers. Clients do not want to hear this about a company they are paying to do the work.

It certainly is starting to become concerning that they cannot figure this out and be more communicative about what exactly is happening. They have large national clients, so are they really struggling financially? Are they having IT issues and have an incompetent staff to resolve?

I think they will want to do something quick or more and more people are going to bail on the current assignments they have scheduled.
I find it odd that they have not put out a statement on their home page under "Shopper Messages." Perhaps we all need to flood the helpdesk.
I knew something was up when they tried to short me $10 for a Jan, shop. I posted a thread about it. I had to prove to them that they were in error. It was supposedly corrected, but still no $. Not getting the usual calls from their outsourced staff or emails. They probably caused them to go belly up.

People firing MF should take it a step further and remove your PayPal and banking info from your accounts before closing them. Everyone should be adding 2 step authentication on any cards they use for MS, avoid co-mingling personal and MS funds, add text notifications to their cards for any withdrawals over $10 and keep a file of all receipts and ‘completed shop’ pages.

I couldn't help but think...when they had the burger company the last time, they were always late paying. Then they didn't have the burger company, and they began paying right on time just about every month. Now, they have the burger company again and here we go...paying late again.
