I've done several assignments for them, Shanna is always wonderful, responsive, and supportive.
I'll agree, the reports can be a bit intense, I definitely wait for healthy bonuses for hard-to-fill shops in order to be worth it for me, personally. For example, I used to do one shop that they have now for another MSC, the report was a cakewalk and the pay was always the same (high!) flat rate, no bonuses, plus reimbursement. I will say, I miss those days, especially since I visited often enough to see feedback that I'd given lead to tangible, meaningful change.
I think everyone has different things that make any given shop "worth it" for them, but for me, I can only do about two of their actual amusement park-level shops per year, because of a variety of reasons. They don't have a ton where I live, but I'd love to do more work with them, if I lived in one of the places that has movies theaters, bowling, etc.
I wouldn't recommend them for newer shoppers, but if you've been able to do high-end hotel shops, you'll be fine. To me, they are pretty similar. It won't be the best, most relaxing hotel/amusement park experience, but if it gets you out of the house & has some elements that are a treat for you and a loved one that you might not otherwise be able to experience, it's worth it for a lot of people.
Whatever you decide, good luck!
Also, if you haven't updated your profile, maybe do so as you've gained more experience & have more complex shops under your belt? Or tweak your sample narrative?
