Why I like IPSOS!!!

I figured I would start a thread about some positives about IPSOS. Seems there is quite a bit of negativity about them.

I only do a handful of shop scenarios from them. I don't have any issues with them.

I did a stagecoach bank complaint shop on Friday and was already paid today. Meanwhile my chinese cuisine was from 2 weeks ago and I got paid today. I understand that the chinese place editing is not as fast in the first couple of weeks, but as they get closer to the deadline, the editor's priorities shift.

All of the project managers I have ever interacted with have been pleasant, but then again, I am selective with my shops.

I'm not saying IPSOS is without fault. Every MSC has room to improve. But I certainly can find so many more sucky MSC to spend time warning people about.

I'm neutral and indifferent. However, I like to read the venting from one specific poster smiling smiley

Please don't feed the MSF trolls!

Feeding the MSF trolls bread or other human food is detrimental to their health and the environment. It can lead to malnutrition, disease, and behavioral problems in trolls, as well as water pollution and the spread of pests. Trolls are capable of finding their own food sources and don't require human assistance.
Oh, you know, that one shopper who recently stated, "When in Rome, do as the Romans do." smiling smiley

Oops, I mean, driving in Montana with a "Bureau of Land Management" sticker on one's car. smiling smiley

IPSOS treat me fair and square, they offer enough jobs and they pay faster than most other MSC
I find their instructions to be very detailed and easy to follow. The better documentation we get, the less chance of rejection. Definitely a good company in my experience.
I liked them alright until one scheduler got stupid with me. I don't tolerate stupid well.
I like them as well. They are my bread and butter. But, I have a job that has been waiting for review for a month now. Their approval time is getting worse.

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.
It seems like they are breaking the record so far. IPSOS/ Sassie shop I did on 7/15 not reviewed yet. 22 days since. I bet it going to get to one month point!!!!

since 7/15 I did 7 shops on Shopmetrics from which 6 were paid and one on Sassie.

Shopping Eastern Pennsylvania since 2009

That was never a problem with them 5 years ago. Maybe 3 days max. Even if I do a job the last day of the month, I expect to be paid on it in the next payment cycle. Did one June 30th for Intellishop, paid on 7-20. Doing one for them today, and expect to be paid on 9-20.
If IPSOS is dragging stuff out for the purpose of delaying payment that is completely unacceptable.
Ipsos does often take a while to review shops, but they do pay quickly instead of making you wait until a particular date on the following month (or the month after!). So I will still continue to do work for them.
Sounds like they are not paying real quickly on certain stuff these days though. The one good thing about places that pay once a month or longer is that the fees tend to go up because a certain percentage of shoppers can't/won't wait that long.
Ditto. Types of shops are being edited slowly. Slower than the American Chinese chain restaurant.

Do not read so much, look about you and think of what you see there.

They pay quickly, but often edit slowly. They pay as little as possible, and throw bonuses at us to entice to take the low paying jobs, which now seem like a "good deal." Their instructions, when measured across their complete spectrum of job offers, range from poor to excellent. And finally, they're a French company, and we should have nothing to do with them, based only on that!
I for one don't mind at all those shoppers who scorn IPSOS. The majority of my jobs are for them with rare bonuses due to an overwhelming number of shoppers in my area and a dearth of better offers from other companies. If you dislike them I would be happy to take the jobs you turn down. Alas, It seems few to none of you live in my neighborhood.

87Supra, it sounds like you have a lot of complaints about Ipsos. Maybe delete your shopper profile and stop shopping for them? If you are shopping on Presto for them, you know it is likely going to be 10 days before the shop is approved.... they tell you that upfront.
I have not shopped for them in years. Just responding to other peoples complaints. If you keep going back for more, more power to to you.
This! They are by far the largest portion of my income. I had one shop come back to me all year, and it was due to my uploading the wrong receipt. More than happy for shoppers to leave more of their shops, but unfortunately the opposite seems to be true. Any of their food-related shops, especially, are going faster than ever in my area.

The sassie IPsos and the ipsos shopmetrics you which you are talking about are seperate businesses. Most of the complaints are the Sassie side.

They're my bread-and butter, and I certainly appreciate the fast pay and the scheduling flexibility.

But they can still suck it...

Have synthesizers, will travel...
Je n'ai plus de croissants. Les trolls les ont tous pris. Mais j'ai du saucisses feuilletées. De la nourriture humaine pour un humain ! Mâchez lentement smiling smiley
