Epms is frustrating to work with.

They have been looking for someone to complete an apartment tour and it was bonused at $100. I emailed the scheduler on Friday (8/9) and said I could call and complete this on 8/12. He accepted and it was scheduled. I just got an email tonight, from a different scheduler, that I was being unassigned for lack of progress. What???? I emailed him back, probably won’t get a reply. I don’t understand their process at all.

If it was a shop that states to call and visit Monday - Friday, they were wrong to unassign you after you got the shop assigned on a Friday. If it was an "anytime" shop, they would have expected you to make call attempts on Saturday and Sunday, to secure the 08/12 date for touring. If it was a "shop anyone," that is doable, to call and visit the same day. If it was a target shop, you cannot be certain the target would be there or even answer the call on the 12th. You did not provide any of these details in your post. Some leasing offices are not open on Sunday, though, which would help your case. And some show by appointment on Saturdays. Either way, you stated you would call on 08/12, and they accepted. Or did you actually state you would call "by" the 12th? It seems like something was missing in the communication.
I told the scheduler I would call ON 8/12. The shop was listed again, so I assigned it to me again. ????
EPMS are purveyors of the absolute worst online experience in the entire industry. Redundancy, multiple formats for entering the same data, I could go on....

I love how their reports just STOP when all data is entered, with no navigation instructions away from the resulting page.

They have one report format that does not have that redundancy, just one. It is short and seems to be for one client. It is the only one I will do.

I’m with you. The (mis) communication system and report form glitches are more frustrating than the money’s worth and they punish us for thier dysfunction, one example being by what you described.

Then there’s the tiny email boxes and “support” emails that never reply when you try to suss out the glitches…

It's a feature! :-P

I never reply to EPMS emails for active projects, as the communication is not mirrored in the report. I only communicate via the message link on their site.
