Premise, Fotopay, Gigwalk

Are you guys seeing anything more than what I'm seeing when it comes to these apps?
Premise: For quite some time I see, "Nothing to show you today, but check back soon."
Fotopay: The little wheel spins and spins. I deleted and reinstall the app, but no change in what I see.
Gigwalk: For quite some time I see nothing more than that insurance website thing that is always there.

I received an email from Fotopay a few months ago letting users know that the app was getting an overhaul and would be down until further notice. I deleted it. It stressed me out over $2. Not worth it.

All of these gig apps have really bottomed out. I still keep them and occasionally check them. But, rarely do anything.

Yes, my Premise app has shown nothing for several months now, with the same message as you're getting.

I remember articles profiling people making $60K from Gigwalk when it first came out. Sounds like it has fizzled.

These cheap a** pay as little as possible companies, such as Fotopay can take a hike. I remember when they first came out, and they asked my opinion on it. I was like, you're only paying $2 for every job.

I just flat out refuse to work that cheap. Everyone else can have my share of work. I'm not doing it.

I've done some stuff with Field Agent. $4 to photograph an end cap and scan 4 UPC codes on the end cap in a grocery store I'm already at is like finding a couple of dollar bills on the floor. I can do it in under six minutes, so I'm happy. But the instructions are really stupid most of the time.

I like the analogy of finding a couple of dollars on the floor. That’s how I felt about Fotopay. There were a ton of coffee shops in my area that only required an exterior photo. There was also a grocery store that wanted a picture of the eggs.
