Anyone doing anything for them recently? I haven't had anything in months.

I joined several months ago and only received one offer and I said no. They wanted me to go to a strangers home and fix something and as a women that's a pass. If it was in a store, I would have easily done it, but in a strangers home in this day and age nope.
I had a recall or two about 2 weeks ago with them. Their jobs come and go. You never know when their next jobs are.

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.
I saw that one at a person's home too. I decided that I wasn't interested in going to a private residence.
Often, too, recalls are handled differently in different parts of the country or for products sold in stores that might not be nationwide. I know several have been discussed here that did not happen in my area.
I did a product pickup at a private home about two years ago. I had to leave a receipt. I packed and took it to UPS. Easy.

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
I've done a couple of pick ups but had to negotiate a better hourly rate for RT drive time. They were both in the boonies and the customers were also a bit cautious. You talk to them by phone first, which is a good indicator. Both meetings ended up at a nearby public place.
Did a recent recall which didnt go well. They didnt explain in the instructions that there were 2 very similar products which I'm sure caused them and their ICs a lot of grief.
They called me twice about it with ridiculous offers for stores over an hour away. I told them i don't work for free. The last call was a negotiation which ended with a passable hourly travel rate. In the end scheduler shorted me $2 an hour. She processed it herself so it was on her. The excuses were pathetic. They can get away with this b/c they don't change the hourly rate in the expense report. Instead you have to add the hours and miles in the notes section. I included the hourly rate in it when i reported it so there was no excuse. I told her to never contact me again. She now has nobody willing to touch the remote pick ups - which are usually chards of something found in food. So gross. They've gone downhill since the insulting baby food pay/test/mess.
This wasn't a pickup. You had to make an onsite repair for a device and the estimated time was between 1-2 hrs.
They just posted a small recall in my area. First I have seen from them in a couple months.
I signed up with them earlier this year, but haven't done anything for them. I received two offers, but both were a good distance from me and not really worth the money.

I have not done a single thing for RQA since they came out with the $16/no mileage BS. They sent me a job 79 miles one way to pick up a wine bottle that a customer said had shards of glass coming off the lip. I took a pass. The last time they wanted me to go to somebody's house, I looked up the address, and the place looked sketchy as hell.

I registered 5 months ago. Never got a confirmation or “welcome” email.

Got notification for 2 assignments within 10-12 weeks with just the town listed (50 miles away), but no access to product details, instructions, or pay rate. It came from an “no reply” email address.

I searched for a working email address and phone # in the volumes of FAQ files and reached out asking for clarity. No reply.

About a month later I’m copied on a group email with the company name in the sending address that looked more like a hack than anything business related. I replied to the sender asking for clarity in the 2 assignment offers. Again no reply.

4 weeks ago I received an envelope with a photo badge on an RQA lanyard that looks like it was done by a 3-year old. Nothing else in the envelope.

This has been a very unprofessional experience which doesn’t bode well for field support or payments, so I’ve directed their emails to Spam.
I am working on a large recall project in the western states. More locations than I’ve ever seen with them.
This is too bad. I find them to be one of the very best companies to work with. They answer the phone, always, provide support 7 days a week and they pay pretty quickly.

Have you logged in at this website? It shows you whats available, if anything. Their work is very project based and gets snatched up pretty quickly.

Typo perhaps? They currently have "WAKEFERN State Fair Corn Dog"
They have two recall jobs going on near me right now but they are all at Shop Rites and I hate going to those stores for recalls and going into the back freezer. Too much running around trying to find someone to help you.
I grabbed a project with them today. Not anticipating a lot of product since it is a food item at two drug stores and a gas station, but I've been surprised before!

They have also sent me a consumer residence pick up about 4x in the past few days. I would do it for the hourly pay/mileage but the city about an hour away from me and hard to work into my schedule.
Just picked up two convenience store locations to search for some freeze-dried candy on recall. The GOOD thing is that the pay rate is BACK UP to either the $20/hr + $0.30/mile....OR $20/location (which includes admin time and destruction if needed) + $0.30/mile. Maybe they've had lots of complaints and/or refusals to do the other jobs when they reduced the fee and took away the mileage. So...I'll try these two locations and see how it goes.
I so wanted that freeze dried but I'm booked this week and out of town next week. Bummer.
I'm not sure about the pay being back up. I just checked to see if there's anything for me, and there is: a mystery shop involving lighters. It's 23 miles away, and they think it's worth "paid by location without travel fee," so that's a whopping $10 total....for a 46-mile drive round-trip.

So insulting.

Well, for this freeze-dried candy recall, the pay is back to what it has always been, $20/hr or $20/location, so I'm happy with this assignment. Maybe other jobs still haven't had their pay put back to what it really should be. That's sad.
I picked up 12 of the candy effectiveness checks at $20 each plus mileage instead of hourly because they're all close by. I did 7 in 2 hours today. No product found.
All of the closeby stores have been taken. I am not driving any distance for these, although I would love the CC points.
Legal mileage rate is 70 cents/mile.
