BARE International vs iSecretShop

I was heavy into mystery shopping in 2014-2015. I’m now getting back into it. My rating with BARE is 10 and when I login, I see different shops than the BARE shops listed on iSecretShop. I just completed an online shop for BARE on iSecretShop and was notified that my rating is now at level 5. Can anyone explain to me why it’s almost like 2 different companies, but they’re both BARE International. Thanks!

The platforms are different, so the grading systems are different.

What I don't really understand is why some MSCs have started using multiple platforms. I guess some platforms are better for getting a large quantity of shoppers and others give the MSC more control over who does the visits.

Thanks! Yeah, I’ve noticed that too and don’t understand why it’s not streamlined. I keep getting denied shops on iSecretShop but can self assign on BARE (through Apollo).

ISS has a broader target of shoppers than just one specific MSC. BARE had a hard time filling a particular client when on their "apollo" system, but they moved the project to ISS and do not seem to have the same scheduling issues.

The Rubber Ducky is one that moved from Apollo to iSS, and the only advantages are approvals are very quick and the pay is a bit quicker as well.

The online reporting process is clunkier, and scheduler communications can be problematic.
