Ipsos issues

In December I did a bunch of bonused shops. All were approved before December 28, and I should have been paid for them on January 2.

But one shops wasn't paid. Shop complete, edited and approved before December 28, two other shops that were approved were paid, but not the third. At the time I thought, ok, so I'll get paid for it on the next payday, which was Jan 6, still didn't get paid for that one shop.

While we were in GA doing other stuff, I did a lighting audit because it was close to my grandsons' home (I still didn't get to see them), and I was going to be there anyway. That one was edited and approved and I thought everything was going to be hunky dory.

Well, today is January 13, and I STILL have not been paid for a shop I did in December and a shop I did in January 2026 that are edited and approved for payment.

I did contact Ipsos last week and was told they would investigate, and they said that they appreciated that I said I had never had to chase payment from Ipsos before.

Today I cancelled two jobs that I had scheduled because I still have not been paid. I do NOT work for free. And I won't schedule any more shops with them until I get paid.

Morled comments--Today I cancelled two jobs that I had scheduled because I still have not been paid. I do NOT work for free. And I won't schedule any more shops with them until I get paid.

Bob completely agrees--The above was concise and logical.
Somebody will do the jobs so the MSC couldn't care less about your cancellations. It's just the way they roll. You'll probably have to do lots of back and forth emails that go nowhere until you ask for a manager. Even then your chances are slim.
I’m with you on not completing shops when previous payments are overdue. I hope you communicated why.

Is there a way to find out who the project manager was for those? My luck runs 50/50 for success with that route, but it’s better than not getting paid at all.

I’ve stepped back from that MSC for that, and for editors that want me to lie and like to mess with us, because they can.

I hope you get paid. You’ve done so much work for them they should give you an appreciation bonus.

SBP,

Yep, I sent another email. To the "ignore.me.forever" email address and to Carey Medina and another person that I also believe is a manager or something similar there.

I explained everything, again.. and included the email history, and told them that I cancelled two jobs that I had scheduled for today because I still have not been paid.
It’s such a massive company…

I sent a query to “support” once and got a reply from someone in Germany who said they sent it to someone in the US…

After 3 attempts with no resolution I decided the rates and communication/pay issues were costing me too much.

From their perspective, what’s the loss of one or two it… ? ICs mean to the profit margin of a company that has access to a global population willing to work for less than we do?
I got a new message from them today saying that there is a glitch in the gas station program and they have fixed it and I will definitely be paid on Jan 20. But the other station that I still haven't been paid for is a different program, and I also did not get paid for that one. So I wait.. I don't believe anything without proof from these folks anymore.
I hope it works out.
I self assigned a gig that was located right next door to another gig I’d just finished, only to find the instructions were incomplete.
Reached out to the scheduler.
In 6 email exchanges nothing was resolved so I couldn’t do the assignment.
More wasted time ….
