Who paid me?

I have such a hard time figuring out which company has paid me. I keep the record for the company and sometimes when I get paid, I have no idea how to log it. For example, today I received a large payment from ISsSPrims. It also says Intouch Insights. I wish there were an easier way. I might have to go through the entire list to see who paid me.

If it says this (see below), you did the shops on the ISecretShop platform for InTouch Insights. Might be a good idea to keep track of the different platforms on your spreadsheet or accounting setup.

Do you not reconcile when a payment comes in, or at least once a month? You need to keep track of your invoices, as you are a small business.

Your spreadsheet should have columns for date, MSC, Store name, location, date paid, job notes, fee, bonus, reimbursement amount. If you have those columns, it makes it much easier to track down who paid you.

My spreadsheet has all of that but I was paid a lump sum and don't know which company it came from.

I reconcile and add the date paid when I receive it and highlight where it was paid, PayPal, direct to bank, and checking account. But it still does not explain which company actually paid me. It seems like several use the Intouch Insight platform.

As I stated earlier, if it came from InTouch Insights it would say this or something similar:

Custom Note
Payment from Intouch Insight for iSS/Prism shops for the period ending.

The above note is what each of my PayPal transaction have for Intouch Insights I get from Isecretshop.

Just go to Isecretshop and look at the paid selection. It will tell you the dates your shops were paid out. Match that to your spreadsheet and you should be good to go.

There are three different companies that this MSC pays me. One is Gigspot, one is ISS, and the other is See Level. It has gotten so confusing!

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.

I don't really understand your frustration. PayPal sends an email for each individual payment. The other day I received 3 different payments, all from Intouch Insight, one from the old Alta 360, one from SeeLevel, and one from ISS. All of them said Intouch Insight, but it was 3 separate amounts, that paid me for 7 different jobs. It was pretty easy to tell which was which, and PayPal kept all the payments separate, so it was easy for me to track it.

I did get two separate emails. I could easily figure out one since it's only shop. The other one ($100) was for multiple shops and I still don't know which company sent it to me. I have checked all of the companies that are Intouch Insight, and dont see any that add up to that amount.
