Sentry Marketing....Has Anyone Else Seen This

They have this BBQ client. I try to do one a month. I noticed I hadn’t done one since January. I was wondering if they had stopped.

Then I see the scheduler announing another round of shops. I don’t see them on the board though.
I give it a day or so. Still no shops. I e-mail her. She says she’ll look into it. A few days later...still no shops.

Finally bonuses are announced. Stil nothing on the board even though a location 3 miles from me is on the e-mail annoucing bonuses.

Has anyone else seen this from them...Shops for clients announced but not showing up on the job board?

Were you accessing through Gigspot or direct via their site? My most recent interaction was in November when I took a shop through an email offer. The email came from the scheduler I had previously worked with on the same account. That job was not posted to Gigspot but my assignment appeared there as usual. I haven't seen a single posting from them nor gotten any emails since. My task was successful and paid as expected but poof, gone. I assumed the client didn't renew their contract and that was the only thing they offered in my area. But, because I have a Gigspot account, I cannot access their site directly to find out if there are postings there.
The shopmetrics program can hide shops that you're not qualified to do, unlike Sassie. If you've been removed from the project, whether you deserved to be or not, the shops won't show in the shops you can apply for.

I also know that if you're using Gigspot, the MSC can not post the jobs on Gigspot, and only make those jobs available to legacy website users.
Well, I opened a ticket and got a response that is confusing so I have asked more questions. I will say that you should also open a ticket because they fixed something, it wasn't me being removed from a project.
They either really don't know anything or they don't want to give a straight answer. But, I can see a posting now that I couldn't before and isn't new. I still have no idea if there are jobs on their site that don't appear on Gigspot.
But wait, there's more... I got an email advertising bonused shops in my area. Same scheduler, same client as November. I still can't see these specific shops on Gigspot.

So, I asked the scheduler and gave my preference for an assignment. I'm now assigned and same as November, it shows in my jobs on Gigspot. I still can't see the posting. I was told that there wasn't any block, she has no idea what the problem could be. Just directed me back to support.

I suspect they have a problem *they aren't even aware of* and a lot of shops are sitting unclaimed because of visibility issues. I have attempted to communicate this but support hasn't been so supportive so I am not holding my breath.

Support didn't respond but as of today, I can see the shops that I wasn't able to see before. They clearly did something. @metro25782 maybe whatever they did fixed yours as well but the lesson I learned from this is to harass support until they fix it.

Well, I got awarded the bonused shop. Did it this morning. Will see what happens from the editors.

This happened to me with another MSC and Gigspot. The MSC was unaware there was an issue until I mentioned it and assignment the job via email.

Gigspot support did not respond to my query.

Sentry support responds but they don't seem particularly interested in acknowledging nor fixing the problem.

I also had issues with the Gigspot site randomly logging me out and getting stuck as I was attempting to complete my report. It was infuriating. I'm ready to make notes about all the MSCs I might access through them, delete Gigspot, and sign up with those MSCs directly. The idea of consolidators is appealing but only if the site works. I feel much the same about ISS and all their glitches.

GigSpot support is terrible. You’re lucky to have gotten a reply at all.
There are multiple problems they can’t (or don’t care to) fix.
That said, I’ve communicated that to schedulers and most are aware and frustrated as well.
That work ethic just makes more work for everyone …except GigSpot, which collects that contract payment from the MSC regardless.
Last month, we experienced issues with the shopper profile section of the ShopMetrics platform, which prevented some shoppers from seeing assignments. There were also issues beyond our control that prevented some shoppers from seeing assignments. When these issues were brought to our attention, we looked into them, and after a few days, the problem was corrected.

Regarding Gigspot support, mystery shopping companies are very limited in the support they can provide. For this reason, we have to refer shoppers to Gigspot support for assistance.

Last month? I couldn't see the shops since at least last Fall. I couldn't see them in November when I was assigned by the scheduler after an email communicated that several locations in my area were sitting available and bonused. They were invisible to me then and they remained so until recently. I stopped getting emails after that shop, I searched and they weren't in my spam or anything, they just stopped. The scheduler stated they had no idea why I couldn't see the shops. I didn't pursue the issue in November and when the emails stopped , I believed the client must not have renewed and there wasn't anything to see. I still don't know if there are postings that I cannot see, only that I can finally see jobs for two clients.
I'm sorry that the scheduler didn't inform us of the issue or suggest that you submit a support ticket/email a request for assistance. It's possible you couldn't see available assignments due to something in our setup, or it could have been a platform glitch. Without knowing the specifics, it's difficult to determine what happened.
If I happen to see something on GS I am interested in I just go to the source. I am usually in the position where I can wait to get paid.

Sentry doesn't allow access to their site if you have a Gigspot account.

I could forward emails or supply the Sentry support ticket number? What information would be helpful to you?

Interesting, I am sure I have done work for them. More like over the last 10 years, who haven't I worked for?
For accuracy purposes, the inability to log in to a Shopmetrics-based platform when you are registered through GigSpot is a limitation built into GigSpot's system — it is not a policy decision made by Sentry or any other mystery shopping company. Shopmetrics and GigSpot are owned by the same parent company, and this restriction is something they control entirely. No MSC using Shopmetrics can override it. We understand it can be frustrating, but this is simply outside our control.

You can forward both the ticket number and emails to dave@sentrymarketing.com, and I will be happy to research the issue and get back to you.

Hello and good evening.

JTLYK..I received an e-mail from the scheduler for the BBQ shops in Texas on May 15 (16 days ago). As of today (5/31) I still couldn't see the shops on my dashboard. When I do a statewide search, none of the BBQ locations show up.
