But wait, there's more... I got an email advertising bonused shops in my area. Same scheduler, same client as November. I still can't see these specific shops on Gigspot.
So, I asked the scheduler and gave my preference for an assignment. I'm now assigned and same as November, it shows in my jobs on Gigspot. I still can't see the posting. I was told that there wasn't any block, she has no idea what the problem could be. Just directed me back to support.
I suspect they have a problem *they aren't even aware of* and a lot of shops are sitting unclaimed because of visibility issues. I have attempted to communicate this but support hasn't been so supportive so I am not holding my breath.
Sentry support responds but they don't seem particularly interested in acknowledging nor fixing the problem.@SBP wrote:
This happened to me with another MSC and Gigspot. The MSC was unaware there was an issue until I mentioned it and assignment the job via email.
Gigspot support did not respond to my query.

I also had issues with the Gigspot site randomly logging me out and getting stuck as I was attempting to complete my report. It was infuriating. I'm ready to make notes about all the MSCs I might access through them, delete Gigspot, and sign up with those MSCs directly. The idea of consolidators is appealing but only if the site works. I feel much the same about ISS and all their glitches.
Last month? I couldn't see the shops since at least last Fall. I couldn't see them in November when I was assigned by the scheduler after an email communicated that several locations in my area were sitting available and bonused. They were invisible to me then and they remained so until recently. I stopped getting emails after that shop, I searched and they weren't in my spam or anything, they just stopped. The scheduler stated they had no idea why I couldn't see the shops. I didn't pursue the issue in November and when the emails stopped , I believed the client must not have renewed and there wasn't anything to see. I still don't know if there are postings that I cannot see, only that I can finally see jobs for two clients.@Sentry Marketing wrote:
Last month, we experienced issues with the shopper profile section of the ShopMetrics platform, which prevented some shoppers from seeing assignments. There were also issues beyond our control that prevented some shoppers from seeing assignments. When these issues were brought to our attention, we looked into them, and after a few days, the problem was corrected.
Regarding Gigspot support, mystery shopping companies are very limited in the support they can provide. For this reason, we have to refer shoppers to Gigspot support for assistance.
Sentry doesn't allow access to their site if you have a Gigspot account.@87Supra wrote:
If I happen to see something on GS I am interested in I just go to the source. I am usually in the position where I can wait to get paid.
I could forward emails or supply the Sentry support ticket number? What information would be helpful to you?@Sentry Marketing wrote:
I'm sorry that the scheduler didn't inform us of the issue or suggest that you submit a support ticket/email a request for assistance. It's possible you couldn't see available assignments due to something in our setup, or it could have been a platform glitch. Without knowing the specifics, it's difficult to determine what happened.
