EyeSpy Reporting MSC, is it legit?

I just got an email from EyeSpy Reporting and was wondering if anyone has heard of them? I am not signed up with them and I don't recall ever seeing anything about them.

Consistently late to pay and reminders are required. But, they have paid the amounts promised when they get around to it.

BTW, their late is still faster than some. I just get the feeling they wouldn't pay at all if I didn't ask because there is no regularity to their pay cycle.

Thank you for that very helpful information. Putting on my 10 ft pole list!

You're welcome! I asked about them before I started, too. Someone said they were terrific so I gave it a shot. They paid late and only after I asked. I asked the person who had recommended them and that person said the late issue was new, they'd always been great.

And, they made excuses. Someone was sick. On vacation. On medical leave. It sounded believable at first but everything has a shelf life.

Late payments and needing to remind them has been going on for a long time now and they've stopped making excuses. Now they just delay answering, need time to look into it, etc.

I attempted to ask the person who had recommended if they were still working with them and if so, were they having the same challenges. That person read but didn't respond.

I still do a couple shops here and there but I wouldn't take on any more than I am comfortable losing if they abruptly vanish. I don't think they are on solid ground in spite of them investing in a new interface.
Deedeezthoughts - my apologies for not replying to your previous inquiry! I actually thought that I did. Sorry about that. I will note that I still do work for EyeSpy on a regular basis. Maybe $200 worth of shops each month. As Deedeez noted, they just invested in a new web interface and they have been taking on new clients. They seem to be expanding. But, they had not paid me for any of the shops I did from January until April, so just a few days ago, I emailed the main contact to inquire. She responded that day to apologize and said that they already processed the January and February payments and did not give me a reason for why mine was missed, but then they paid me everything that they owed that day.

Overall, even though I've had a relatively good experience with them over the many years, and I have always received quick responses and resolutions to my inquiries, it is prudent to be wary. I agree with Deedeez that I am careful with what I accept as I do not want to be out too much money if something happens...
And just to document for anyone who searches later. I received partial payment for March today. The amount makes no sense, waiting to hear what sort of explanation is offered.

And yes, I did have to remind them to get anything.

Deedeez shares--Consistently late to pay and reminders are required.

Bob comments--Nothing more needs to be shared for me; thank you.
Some of us are apparently gluttons for punishment. Or, just want to ride while the (rickety and unsafe) gravy train rolls.
Well, the partial may be shared responsibility. I may have entered the subtotal in the total field on one (there are two separate receipts being reimbursed for one shop more often than not). They still forgot to reimburse my membership fees for two months but the missing funds and those fee reimbursements are promised on Friday. It looks like I won't have to cancel the shop I have upcoming.

Yeah, the particular shops that Deedeez and I are talking about it super easy, they take maybe just a few minutes to write up (even though I think their new web interface is more cumbersome than the previous one), and the items that I'm getting are something that I would have paid my own money for anyway. So, it's worth it for me to continue doing the shops, even though I need to email them every few months to remind them to pay. Over the last few years, I've still been reimbursed close to $13,000 from them. So, I will continue working with them as long as they keep quickly responding to all of my emails...
EyeSpy...wow. That is a blast from the past. I did a shop for them in 2008. They mailed a check to me 45-50 days after the shop. After that, I decided to avoid that kind of BS going forward. MSC's that do that are using your money as a free credit line.
