Rescheduling on CoRI?

I'm scheduled for a shop tomorrow that I'd REALLY like to move to another day. I don't see any way to do it other than canceling the shop and trying to re-book it. Am I overlooking something? I could swear I rescheduled something with them before but I'm not seeing a way to do it now.

I CAN do it tomorrow, I'd just rather not. I booked just a bit more than I feel comfortable doing.

I managed to move one of the other shops. I think I'm okay now.

FYI, cancelling the shop will ding your auditor rating significantly (maybe a full point) and you will no be allowed to assign it back to yourself. Live chat or a phone call during business hours is the only way to reschedule. Live chat can be hit or miss so I usually go for the phone call.

The only way I have been able to reschedule shops with CORI is to ask the scheduler. Sometimes it is like pulling teeth, other times, not so much. I do know this: If you cancel a shop on the board, you cannot reassign it to yourself. Also, your auditor rating more than likely will be affected.
The easiest way is to.get on their chat and ask to.reschedule. They are usually pretty good about rescheduling. If you send an email it may be days before you get a reply.
if you are doing it the next day, you can just do it and enter it since you have plenty of time to enter it anyway. Saves having to talk to them.

Take it from me, that will just result in having to talk to them the following day when the receipt doesn't match the scheduled date. It is easier to have a scheduler change the date before entering the report. Recently I wasn't able to complete a shop scheduled for Saturday and went Sunday instead. First thing Monday morning I was able to have the date changed and enter the report.

FYI.....Ine the Future or for the newer people reading this!...Make sure to email the scheduler for that shop with all the info.. AI #, JI #, and the date and reason for change. If it is better for them to have you perform the shop optimally (hint, hint), then they usually will move the date. There are some that cannot be moved so read for that in the Job Info page.
I also just use their chat feature and change the date. It's really easy and convenient.
I'm not suggesting this, just chatting. I've cancelled a shop then picked it up later in the month heavily bonused. This is because of where I live though. Why did I cancel the shop? I had forgotten my camera so I used my cell phone as a camera for the first time. When I got home I had no idea how to get the picture from my cell phone to my computer. grinning smiley Learned a thing or two since then.
Thanks for the suggestions. I'll keep that in mind if it comes up again. I decided to do it as scheduled. It's a grocery shop and I really need groceries, I was just concerned about doing five shops in one day with some other things that are going on in my life right now. But two of the shops had a week-long window so I moved them and I'm okay now. I have the grocery shop and two revealed photo audits to do locally so I'll be okay. I shoved the other two jobs off to Friday.

I'm probably mistaken about having changed a date on one before. I think I was thinking of the gas station shop I blew by not getting a receipt and they let me re-shop the next day.

I'll be picking that shop up again for next week. It went up $5 this week and I'm holding to see if it goes up another $5 by Friday. I'd rather do it for $30 than $25. smiling smiley

Tech and Lisa -
What do you do with the nasty emails that arrive at 2 a.m. threatening to drop your shop since you didn't report by midnight on the day you were scheduled. I believe the message is to have it in by 12 noon or else.

Prince - I'm with janalou on this one - I'm pretty sure when you cancel, you're not supposed to be able to reassign for that shop later on in the same rotation. How did you manage to do it?
Oh, and re. rescheduling - I've done so about six times (out of 850 shops), twice to do earlier and four times to delay by a day or two. No problems with any of the requests. I've always called, and the best time to call seems to be 8:30-8:55 a.m., their time.
I delete themgrinning smiley

Seriously, I don't reschedule all that often and don't often have instances like the one I described. I prefer not taking up their time or my own. The point is CORI is not all that unreasonable. It is always important to be aware of the real date shops must be to the client. If I know that they are at the end date for a round of shops I won't schedule a shop without also knowing I can get it done. I also don't hesitate to call and ask about their flexibility if there may be issues like weather.

CORI states that you can rescheudle once. I just did, moving a shop two days back. You must contact the scheduler.

It's because of where I live. No one else usually takes their shops. I assumed they wouldn't give it to me after cancelling but it sat on the job board so long I finally clicked on it and received it. By that time it had been seriously bonused.
Thanks, prince. I only ever cancelled/was removed for one shop, and it was for CORI. I had walked into the convenience store for the required in store purchase before a revealed audit, and knew the cashier. I finished the purchase, called CORI from the lot, and they said that I should not complete it, and that I'd be removed from the assignment. They were right in not letting me complete it, but it killed me to miss out on it as it creeped up in price the rest of the month, geographically orphaned as it was, knowing full well that I could have swung by on two later occassions in routes during weekdays, when the guy I knew told me he only worked there weekends.
I had tried clicking on it myself, but was denied.
Got it the next month and many times since.
So, you got it the next month. Well, this was quite a while ago, maybe it was already the next month when I got that job.
I don't know if CoRi carries those bonuses over to another month, but anyway it was lucky for me. The bonus covered my first meal and made it worth doing over. smiling smiley
Back in the day it seems most CORI clients were on a monthly schedule. Now the start and due dates are all over the place. They often will carry over bonuses to the next shopping period. Because of that it is possible to get large bonuses at any time during the calendar month.
