I am too especially since they could have just said sorry and left it at that. But I do wish they would come back on here and clear up the confusion on the different credit amounts.

They credited me with $71 dollars...this does not cover 3 months?? I guess it is better than nothing.

There system of credits is a bit confusing but if you call Cricket they may make it clearer. Right now my account only shows 1 months credit plus some change but they told me on the phone I'm covered till mid November.

I also merchandise for another company and work with several cell phone stores, as a spokesperson. (can't do the EASY cell shops anymore) BUT... The HTC 1 is offered by Verizon. You may not have to get rid of the phones. Call some of the big carriers, including AT&T and explain the situation. You don't have to "out" yourself, just tell them the phones and x amount of months were a gift and now you don't know what to do with the phones. It can't hurt and possibly one of the places that offer that phone will work with you.
Sorry to be a bit behind the date of this but I didn't read it until today.
Good luck!

Seems the whole concept of contract law and payment of REAL money have been forgotten. It costs Cricket NOTHING to give "airtme" credits...like taking money from your left pocket and putting it in your right pocket!
I have a contract with the terms clearly spelled out for the five shops:
(The first was $0 for buying the phone)

The 4 follow up shops include visiting the location for service related questions/scenarios, which are a billing issue, a payment issue, a technical/equipment issue, and a threat to disconnect. The scenario specifics are laid out in the survey once the shop is assigned.

You will receive an increasing shopper pay for each of the follow up shops:

1st follow up - 1 month service reimbursed and $10 shopper pay
2nd follow up - 1 month service reimbursed and $15 shopper pay
3rd follow up (Smart Phone) - 1 month service reimbursed and $20 shopper pay
3rd follow up (Standard Phone) - 1 month service reimbursed and $15 shopper pay
4th follow up - 1 month service reimbursed and $20 shopper pay

The follow up shops will be assigned directly to you each month, you must visit the location each time to perform the follow up.

It was very clearly stated that we were OBLIGATED to commit to 5 shops....a 100% legal contract!
You can be sure the lawyers at measurecp have looked over the terms of their agreement with their client (presumably Leap Communications) and will not be settling their BREACH OF CONTRACT with a "payment" pf useless "airtime" from Leap Communications. Personally, I cannot even get a signal at my home from Cricket (T-Mobile is my REAL carrier) so the airtime is worthless. I work for real money to pay my REAL bills, and the idea that they can just evade the HIGHEST payments for the shops with an arbitrary "settlement" of airtime is a joke. Selling the phone is more trouble than it is worth...nobody using Cricket is willing to pay anything for a phone. IEveryone should settle for no less than a CASH payment on top of the airtime of $25 for this breach of contract. Are there any class action lawyers interested in sending measureCP a nice little threatining letter?
Well I do believe Cricket has started chirping with another MSC, but as a regular shop, no cell phone purchase. I got an email for them today.

i feel like all this is just way out there. i'm happy with them giving me service on the phone without me ever having to pay out of pocket, drive to the location, do a report, etc... i mean.. you're complaining about $55 vs what they gave us which is $195 worth. yes, you might rather have the money in your pocket, but they aren't really obligated to give us anything. they can change the rules and guidelines, and chose not to accept your shop at any time during those months. class action lawyer nonsense is a little extreme.
I understand some people are unhappy without the remaining 4 jobs but MCP may have done everything they could just to get us the 3 month service as originally promised. I'm happy that MCP followed through on their word regarding the 3 month service credits. I would have liked to do the remaining 4 shops as well but I understand some things are beyond MCP's control.
Hi,

Any idea why the shops are still on the website? I can still sign up to be a shopper for several locations and receive a free phone and month of service it says?

I would be interested in that too. I have a great phone and love my company but a backup phone would be nice.

I saw it too this morning, I know they were not on their board yesterday.

I think it was very classy of MCP to get us the three month's of airtime they did. As someone posted earlier, they could have just as easily said, gee, we're sorry, and left it at that. Instead they stepped up to the plate and worked to get us the three months of free airtime. I say way to go MCP!!!!!
Isn't the ICA still valid even though the client is no longer with the MSC? I see client and MSC names used several times in this thread.
