I use CheckPoints and ShopKick and love them both. I do shops at Meijer's a lot and these allow me to do my mystery shops while I am also scanning items for these two apps and bringing in points. The only downfall that I have found is that in some locations I do not have internet connection so it is impossible to scan the items that are necessary.

I would love to use WeReward but I cannot find it in the app store.

I like ShopKick. The app is a bit confusing, but if you can be at the right store and the app is on, it will click the points instantly. Also, you can scan UPCs for points. I was at a large mall once and gotten points for walking into 5-6 stores. I've only been using it off and on (I forget a lot) for about a month and got a $5 Starbucks card already.

P.S. My Mobee points are still pending.

Regarding Mobee, what do you have to order at McDonald's?

All I've done for Mobee are the cheese ones at Walmart.

I don't care for the "scavenger hunts" on the FieldAgent app. I've tried to do several of these, and can never find the items in the stores.
I have the Mobee app downloaded but I have never done anything with it... nothing is available when I am and since you can't pick it up ahead of time it stinks. I am confused as to what you have to do for these shops such as the Starbucks, McDonalds, or Subway. Any information would be nice.
I am pretty sure for Starbucks you just need to buy something inside that costs 2.00. I am not sure what the standards are you check but I have that much figured out.

For the McD's I saw it said to buy a Happy Meal or an Extra Value meal and then it appears there are timing standards to check...not sure about the rest.

Subway I haven't seen in my area yet.

I agree that the app should give more info in the description so you can know before you arrive at a location if it's something you are interested in doing.

The Walmart Cheese audit was counting and pictures of two products - I thought that was really easy.

Thanks for the ideas. I downloaded a few of these apps and will try more of them. So far didn't complete any of the jobs yet. The cheese one looks easy... I'll try that if I ever happen to be near WalMart. I saw a bunch of bing photo requests in one of them for $5 each but they look complicated, requiring panoramas of the inside and then outside photos as well, and all have to be done using their photo app. Has anyone done those?

For the subway job I just bought what I wanted. There was no specific purchase requirement except I think it had to be over $2.00.
I do the Starbucks a lot and it is just a $2 requirement.

Went out today and worked several apps. So nice to come home and not have to do any reports.
Mobee reviewed my first Mobee and I am pleasantly surprised with extra points. :-)

We just reviewed your mission and...

Thanks for the mission! For your first time completing a mission, you did an excellent job. We're so happy with your mission that we're going to give you bonus points!Keep them coming!

The Kraft cheese one sounds easy, but it can be a little time-consuming. I did 2 locations, one had 49 packs of the cheese, and another had 33 packs. They were wedged into the shelves, so I had to take them out to count them, and tried not to appear too obvious.
I did a McDonalds for Mobee today and I did not like the fact that you don't see the questions so that you know what to look for in advance. One of the questions was "Did you see a manager and what were they doing?" Well, I was in the back eating my meal and could not get up and go back to check for a manager, so I had to answer the question that I did not observe a manager. Of course when I left I saw the manager and felt bad that I was not able to report what she was doing.
@barbage, I agree. I would have looked at the cashier's name tag, had they asked that question earlier while I was in line. I had to write the description instead. I also had to leave my food on the table, while I run to the restroom to check it, so I can move on to the next question. Next time I will know to check the restroom first, before I get in line and look at the name tag. I did see a manager as she was my food presenter.

Checking and photographing the restroom at the end is a pain because you already have your food. I tried to flick ahead to just get the restroom photo before I ordered my food but couldn't do it. Had to leave my food on the table to go do it.
The first Mobee one I did I didn't know what the questions were going to be but I was in shopper mode and remembered the person's name and the general appearance of the drink station. I would have been nice to know a bit more about what the missions involved before starting them. Still waiting on me McD mobee points from Wednesday lunch though and today is Saturday.

Loving Shopkick so far - scan without buying, earn points and gift cards - no brainer

ronile they can take a week. Usually they do. I used to love Shopkick but not so much now. If you love Shopkick though you will love Pricespotting. You can bar codes and enter the prices and you get points. Doesn't take too long to earn a gift card.
Regarding ordering:

Starbucks (anything as long as you spend $2----that is NOT hard!!)

McD's (Happy Meal or a SANDWICH value meal. That being said, I accidentally ordered chicken nuggets and it was approved).

As far as the restroom goes, make sure to check it before you get in line to order so when the question appears, you will be able to answer it without getting up from eating your meal. I made the mistake the first time, so now I know to do that.

They are really slow to validate points, but mine have been validated (some took over a week).

McDonald's does not require a restroom picture. DD did. I took my coffee and sandwich into the restroom with me to take my picture.

Do you actually make anything on the McDS/Starbucks shops if you have to buy something without reimbursement?
You make just a little bit if you buy a Happy Meal. You get a really good "discount" on the Starbucks. I do not take these unless I am literally in front of the establishment anyway and am hungry. I consider it a reimbursement only.

I really only like the Starbucks and the McD's are great for a Happy Meal if my child is with me or I only want a little bit of food.
Starbucks has a minimum purchase requirement of $2.00. I'm not a coffee drinker so I bought hot chocolate once, another time I purchased a dessert. I haven't done the McD's or Subway ones yet.
I have to say I may never do another McD shop for the other guys - the Mobee shop is easier, on the spot and since I don't eat there all that often anyways its nice to get my money back for my double cheese extra value meal (I end up making about 40 cents or so based on points to I'm okay with that) - and since I get my points pretty quickly so I can request those Starbucks cards and do the shops over there.

Also, I took my kids one day, ordered 4 different meals and they still gave me my points - whoo hooo.

Thanks for posting about this app -

You must have a receipt that says the time within 60 minutes. One location had the wrong time on the receipt and I was not approved for the shop. The app is also buggy for me on Android and sometimes I have to restart my phone (annoying).
I was finally paid for my first four shops on Mobee. I was able to cash out $20 worth of Target Gift cards. I think I am going to like this app!
I inadvertently signed up for a regular (not Mobee) shop that required using a smartphone to show a cashier something and it was sooo hard for me b/c I just recently got a smartphone. But after a lot of messing up (in the parking lot) I figured it out.

So then I went to a Walmart where I knew there was a Mobee app and it would not open. I was quite disappointed b/c it was gonna be my first Mobee job. There was a Starbucks .1 mile away and that one I could open up while I was in the Walmart. But by then I was so cranky I was too dispirited to go to the Starbucks. Why don't they let you see all the questions beforehand so you know what to look for? What info do they need for Starbucks? I can't really afford Starbucks so I don't wanna screw it up.

Also, the Mobee locations seem to be growing exponentially around here.

I do use Shopkick when I remember and when I don't I am shopkicking myself for passing up on points.
Thank you for the time you spent compiling this information. It is very much appreciated.
I am running into a problem with Mobee. Twice it would not submit the shop. it gets to the last screen and just loads, and loads and eventually times out. The technical support advised me to abandon the mission and start over. Tried that the second time and it did not work. I felt gypped as I would not have stopped at that particular coffee place if not for Mobee.

Anyone else had similar experience?
No problems here. Completed two coffee shops tonight. My daughter and I were both able to enjoy.
I finished three shops without problems. However, I noticed the reward levels are now 2500, 5000 and 10,000. There are no more Starbucks or Target gift cards at the 2500 level. I am worry that by the time I reach 2500 level, the choices of rewards will be narrower.
