I had a similar problem at the coffee shop. Answered the questions, took my required photo of the restroom and then, after I snapped my receipt photo, the app blacked out. I tried once again from the beginning and it happened again. I'm not sure if the app had a "glitch" or if if it was my iPhone. I emailed customer service but haven't heard back from them yet. It's been 5 days. I'm only out the $3 or so, that I would have ordered normally but I'm leary to try anymore missions until I know what's up with it.

You can always accumulate points up to 6000 and have them put $50 in your paypal account. Its not dollar per dollar like some of the other rewards but it is cash so that's an option with Mobee that does not seem to be available with the other apps.

Frustrating to not know until you enter the business, but after you do it once, you know the requirements. I lost the info at McD's when I tried to go back and enter the info. They told me just to start the mission again and enter timing as close as I could remember. I'm up to 10,000 points now, will hold onto them until they fold, just hope they don't

I just completed my first mission at McDonald's....but I'm having problem submitting the work. It's been trying to submit for the past hour. I know its not my phone or Internet connection.

Anyone can help? I emailed Mobee but have not heard back.

Update...

After about an hour, Mobee crashed. When I clicked on the mission ...it would not let me re-enter information because I was not at the location.

I am having similar problems. I did the Hospitality part on a coffee shop, but it would not submit. However, when I tried to do the other part of the report, Appearance, I was able to submit. (Some shops have two things Hospitality vs. Appearance.) I was at a store and I had to either use the store's WifI or not use it. Sometimes the store's WiFi is bad. I am definitely having problems with the Android app since the update. I am waiting for another update to help with this bug.
I am having problems with some shops. I am at the location, but does not show if the mission is available. These are for fragrance shops. I do not know if someone else took them or they are just not available anymore since Valentine's Day is over.
I also notice that fragrance shops occur near Xmas, Valentine's Day. I assume around Mother's Day and Father's Day I will see them again. I think this is great for some fragrance companies as we count the amount of the floor, take pictures and it saves the company from traveling to these locations to find out if their products are on the floor, do inventory, and can tell if they are missing some fragrances. I wish I could afford a bottle of my own.
I think and hope this company will not fold.
I am also not getting good feedback when having problems with the app and send it through the app. For instance, I did not get credit for a mission because the location has the wrong time on the receipt. I emailed about the issue, but it has not been resolved yet. My points are posting much quicker now rather than waiting a week or two. Now my wait is sometimes a few days to a few hours.

Question about the mobee app. There is purchase required at both the restaurant and beverage locations, but in reading the FAQs it looks like this is not reimbursed, just points earned. Do they limit the items you can purchase in any way? I can't see a way to tell without accepting a job.

For the beverage shop you must spend a minumum of $2 and for the FF chain (if it is the one I thinking of with a yellow sign) it is a meal. So unless you are doing new locations and the distance between them is more than 10 miles (I think that is the limit) you are just being reimbursed or partially reimbursed for your purchase.

Shelly, You can hit start mission and it will tell you the requirement. You are not committed to performing it and can close the app. As far as I know, there is no violation for naming the restaurants. For McDonald's, you have to buy either a kids' meal or value meal. For DD and Starbucks, you need to spend $2 on anything. I have had NO luck with the perfume audits at the department stores. They either won't submit, after I finish the audit, or the pictures did not show up for me to complete the audit. I tired it four times, at three different stores.

I like iSecretShop as well. Sometimes there are some shops that show up for gas station convenience stores. They only pay $5 but only have 5 yes/no questions and the purchase can be anything (great for when I really need to stop for a drink while out).

do you know if the mobee app is available for locations nationally? I'm thinking of recommending it to my daughter, who is onthe coast of Maine, but not in a major metro area. I can't use it as I don't have iphone or android.

Lisa, So far I have seen Jancyn, Measure, InTouch, Reflections, and several others (but those are the ones with the shops) on iSecretShop. They have been different shops than their websites show.

I used to be insane (hate coffee). But my husband has straightened me out by convincing me to try it, although he doesn't think I drink "real coffee" because I take creamer or milk and sugar.

I don't even like the coffee flavor in mocha almond fudge ice cream. You think that you be enough to mask the flavor, but nope. Can't even get that down.

Easy Shift - I've spoken to the developers and they've said they had no plans for the immediate future to release an Android version. The problem I have with ES is it seems to be designed for people who are in the store and if what they want is there then you sign up. Doing a route isn't a guarantee the target item is there. Signed up for a Dollar Store shop for the Milk section. There was no milk present. Cheese, ReadyWhip etc but no milk. Took a picture of the dairy coolers and the topping. Shop was denied because it was supposed to be Milk. Pointed out the photo showing no milk. So sorry...
Not happy with Gigwalk. Partially because they have very few Gigs where I'm at but the Gigs I did sign up for, I was dropped before time expired with no explanation.
I picked up a 4S that I only use for the apps like ES and the like but I still like Android.
Speaking of, there's TripLog. You can track purchases, mileage and reports. The Executive Package (4.99) gives you the option to automatically turn the GPS on and track mileage (for us forgetful sorts).

ronile, I use shopkick - it is fairly easy, and I have a whole bunch of points saved up. Most of the time it seems too big an app and too much of a time waster - particularly when I don't get any good signals in the stores.

Field Agent is available for Android, as well.

Thanks, I wasn't aware there was an Android version. There wasn't a few months ago.

No, there is no reimbursement for purchases. Flat fee (points) only.

Are you required to remain in the store (DD, Starbucks, and/or McD) for a certain amount of time? If so, how much time is required?

I have never had a time requirement so far. But I have had to read some of the rather ambiguous instructions more than once to figure them out. I've had Shopkick crash so many times and freeze up my phone that I finally uninstalled it. Shop Along had to go also. Anyone else starting to purge their apps? I have an Android so Easy shop was a waste of space, so far it is only for IPhone.

I just downloaded the MOBEE app. I live in the Sacramento CA area and I'm seeing there are not many missions available. Maybe 3 or 4 that are within 20 miles. I am not impressed with the choices. Is it because I'm a newbee and they will add more as I complete these missions? OR is it that there just aren't many available in my area?
I'm debating on whether to keep this app and try it out or delete it to make room for something else on my Android that I can use to MS with.
Any suggestions out there in Forum land?

It really depends on where you are. Luckily for me, there are loads in my area, but if go to the next three closest cities to me, nada.

Now I know there was a reason why I should have gone with an android or iPhone. Damn Windows.
