I've had this with MF a few times with their FF round. It always says, "This is a business decision and will not affect your shopper rating."

Then, 6 months later, I am talking to a scheduler and he says you have one cancellation. I said that I did not cancel the shop. He said, "Well, it does not show why you cancelled but you have a cancellation." Um... "Yeah, thanks." tongue sticking out smiley
I had 2 cancellations with MF last year, has not affected me with them one bit.

I'd theorize that if you shop for them once or less a month it might matter more than lets say someone doing 10 shops a month?

I got one too! No answer here as well.
I had a shop cancelled on me this week. I asked why and was told they had met the quota and didn't need my assignment.
Same thing happened to me. When I expanded my range - and did so throughout the US, there were no shops available (to me anyways) - never happened like this before.
It happens.

I recently had an assignment cancelled. I followed up for a reason; I received a reason. I didn't perform the assignment, so no issues.

Shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado. 33 year old male and willing to travel!
I have had to cancel shoppers upcoming assignments before. I always hate when I have to do it. It has NEVER had anything to do with the shopper but usually the client has pulled the shop most of the time. When we have to cancel an assignment due to the client not wanting it, it will never even be on the shopper's record.

If you guys are talking about Grassroots, they have closed their doors/gone out of business. Check out the other forum threads on Grassroots. There is even a phone # listed and there is an outgoing recording.
OMG, just went to log on and found this notice:

Grass Roots America has ceased operations as of March 31, 2015. If you have any questions, please call (305) 674-7677 and leave us a detailed message and we will do our best to respond to your inquiry as soon as practicable.
What's weird about it is that JUST YESTERDAY I spoke with someone there on live chat who approved a shop for Friday where I wanted a special time, different than what was on their site. They were pleased to set it up for me no problem.

Why would they do that if it was their last day? What was the urgency in closing?

Edit to read: It may have been Monday, but STILL!

I'm guessing the front line employees had NO CLUE

That is amazing, I must say tongue sticking out smiley....The schedulers must not have known the doors would shut. (to schedule you a shop) Pretty scary for the employees of that company.

I wonder if any shoppers have any outstanding money owed? Will they be paid? Or, was this going under insolvency?
Wow I did not know this either! That's a shame- I only shop for them once every couple months or so anymore because of my location, but I enjoyed the dessert!

Happily shopping the Pacific Northwest. Shopping since 2013 smiling smiley
I just reapplied to them yesterday. Was wondering today why I haven't heard back. Now I know.
I got the same email and was actually a little depressed about it because I thought I had been removed as a shopper. I like their shops and reports. I hope they come back!

Edit: if this were an April Fool's joke, it would be a terrible one.
