I think that I saw that you needed a smart phone or tablet in order to collect emails from customers, who would be sent a survey and receive a $10 gift certificate it they filled it out.
I read the guidelines on those. I wouldn't mind the actual work; however, I can think most people are either not going to be bothered or think that it is a scam to get their information.
Shopping across Indiana but mostly around Indianapolis.
I'm wondering the same things. From a customer standpoint, I would probably want to be left alone driving through and getting lunch. It sounds like a horrible job to stand there trying to talk to people in their car, especially for only $16 an hour. Doesn't seem worth it..
I would be annoyed that somebody was pestering me.....so won't take a job that would irritate me if I was on the other end.
Winter time would not be so bad, if you were allowed to wear a mask to block the gas fumes 
Well they are not flying off the board. In my neck of the woods anyway.
Nobody seems to want them around here. With frequent thunderstorms, high heat, and high humidity, this is not my cup of tea.

The description of this shop reminded me of a female British consumer advocate who did this with one cell phone company. The project utilized intercepts, among other methods.
Her report is on YouTube. I mentioned this in case anyone would like to see a British mystery shop as part of a larger project...

I agree. I'm happy that they keep some shoppers in my territory occupied while I go after the actual money. LOL
If I go through a drive thru, I am typically in a hurry. When I looked at these, I tried to look at it from the customers point of view, and did not see it going over very well. If you were just handing something to them, so they could enter information on their own time it would be fine. However, collecting data from a customer in line, while other customers are waiting behind.......
