Market force theater checks

Well, they finally approved me and there are jobs in my area. I have questions about that jobs tho and when I emailed them they said it will take 2 days to get back to

Two theaters are owned by the same company and are 40 miles apart. They are both single screen locations. They are listed separately, but have the same ID number.

If one theater is same movie at different times do I have to check both showings?

I can't believe they don't have a way to directly contact the scheduler.

1. They normally get back in less than 2 days. 2) There is a phone help desk. Check the contact information. 3) For most standard trailer checks, you are checking each print - not each showings. So a theater with one screen will normally be one print, unless they switch from 2D to 3D during the day. 4) Be aware that checking only one print will definitely not be cost effective for 40 miles away unless you are going to be in that area anyway. Sometimes more than one print is not cost effective with the wait time between showings.

Hope this helps.
How long did it take you to get accepted? I signed up months ago and uploaded my id at the time, but when I log in, it still asks for my id to be uploaded. I finally uploaded it again a week ago, and today I called the help desk, was on hold for a while, then got voicemail. I left a message. Wonder if I'll hear back...
It took almost 2 weeks. I live in a smaller urban area. There are 2 theaters here. One has a single screen and the other 10.

There is a job 50 miles away for checking trailers in three movies and then taking surveys after the three movies. The person doing this job would have to be at the theater for roughly four hours because of the spacing of the movies, being there 30 minutes before the first movie, and taking the survey for the last movie. The job pays $36, $12 per movie.

I would not take that job. You can't even watch a movie while you're there either. Someone must take these jobs tho I guess.

Yes. That is helpful. Thank you.

If there are 2 showings, may I go to either one?

Yes, unless it is a First Show. If the movie house is far and the trailer check is your only shop in the area, it is not worth it. However, if you are able to organize your other shops around it, it is definitely worth it because reports can be done at the drop of a hat.
Does anyone know who Market Force's competitors are? I did a blind check this past weekend for MF and now they refuse to pay me the $80 worth of tickets I had to purchase. There site is available until 8 am est which makes my reports late. I am so fed up especially since the pay is below minimum wage and the movie companies are paying them far more money than they are willing to give. Ex: $7 for a job 50 miles away. HELP!
$7 for a job and $80 worth of tickets? What kind of blind check was this? I have done all kinds of theatre shops for CFA and I do not recall a blind checking for $7. Is this the one that required you to purchase tickets for two, count patrons for each showing and purchase more tickets for another showing? You are supposed to be paid for each screen showing. And reporting online should be easy since you would just have to record what you have noted on. Plenty of time to meet the deadline. The hard part was gathering all the info and mailing them. If you did not have to mail them, then I have never done that shop. Especially if the fee was $7. Blind checking are usually paid more than overt, even if your tickets are reimbursed because it's hard to actually do the counting without the cooperation of the movie theatre management.

I don't think that giving you their competitors would help because I think CFA theatre checks are easier to comply with. And this one, since you were supposed to be paid for the ticket, you could even watch the movie.

I signed up a few days ago, and it's the same story...I get emails about available shops but can't log in. I emailed the help desk, no response as yet. Did you get this resolved?
I have still not heard anything. I also emailed the help desk, and have not heard anything. :-(

I have cut back a lot on my shopping due to OT at work. The more I look at the shops I am not doing the more I say "that does not even pay 15.00/hr with drive time"
