Good to know. I have a whole bunch of white polymailers from when I did a lot of eBay selling.
would white with brown polka dots be okay then since those are plain colors?
That depends if the polka dots are light or dark brown. Of course since the polka dots have no made the poly mailer a pattern it is not acceptable in either color except on a day where there will be a full moon that night but that is assuming saturn is in retrograde otherwise it will not be accepted.
All in all just use a plain brown box guys if your going to do these. I don't care for the msp who has them now and wish they would sub contract them back to the other msp.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
Hmmm, I just completed my first two shops this week and used a gray poly mailer for the first one. Guess we'll see...

While the USPS does not have a problem with what We ship in, the MSC does. What is the MSC real problem

I've only done three shops for this company, they found reasons to "reject" all three and not pay me. Not bothering with them again.

I'm wondering if this is an editor issue (or maybe an editor's personal issue with me)... In my case, the infraction in the first email appeared to be the type of mailer, a "bag". The color was mentioned but the example of what is acceptable was for the type of shipping device. The second email about plain colors just seemed very strange. Even if you didn't use the definition-unadorned for plain and the instructions meant a plain color surely gray would be more-plain than yellow/gold.

That's ridiculous! Plain is plain. Common sense would dictate that one doesn't use a black, pink, orange, or bright green bubble envelope, but grey? If we're to be limited on the color of "plain," then the MSC should make it "plain" in the instructions as to what colors are acceptable! Honest to God, this shop is getting to be way more trouble than it's worth, I think. I've stayed away from them recently, but have one coming up. I wish I hadn't applied for it, but I'll keep my obligation....

"Gold" is more plain than Gray? That seems odd to me. Gold is flashy...hey look at me! But I am with everyone else that plain means plain...no designs, superheroes, survivor ribbons, characters etc.

I was starting to stress at Target, etc, looking for a PLAIN mailer. LOL Seems the brand of mailer is in GIANT letters on all of them. Ridiculous. No boxes are totally plain/blank either.
I always print my addresses up on a sheet of paper and tape it over the branding on the box/mailer.

Twice they said the package I mailed wasn't far enough away even though the destination was 2700 miles from here, yes, I looked at the zone chart before sending it and it should have been good. The third shop was a scenario where you had to go to a location and see if they carried a certain product in a store. The address they sent me to was not a store at all but a warehouse and offices for a furniture rental kind of place. I contacted the MS company and they were adamant that it WAS a store at XYZ address and would not believe me when I said oh no it wasn't. They didn't believe the photos I took of the location either and told me to go fly a kite about getting paid.
I am not impressed with that MS company.

I thought that too, but I think that they meant golden-yellow paper mailers. Not Las Vegas gold.
By "gold" they mean manila. I just bought a box of 100 for 24.00 on amazon, free shipping too.

I paid around $20 for the last batch of white poly bubble mailers I bought (which were cheaper than the usual manila bubble mailers I get, although they're usually not). They're size 6's, though, which is pretty big. What size were the ones that you got?

That's where GeoVerify comes in handy. Not that I use it. Now if only that could be imprinted like date/time.

Do you pass the cost on to the MSC for reimbursement? The whole box at one time or piece meal it for each shop?

I received an apology from the editor and the statement below. It seems if there is a way for a MSC to be ambiguous while giving directions they will (Khaki pants, ANY color mailer as long as it's neutral...).

I buy boxes in bulk, 25 at a time, and the reimbursement is done one at a time. Since it would not be possible to know in advance that I will even do 25 of them, the MSC is not going to pay me for unused boxes. I chose to buy this way for convenience, and to be able to get exactly the size box I want delivered by Staples to my front door.

Turn your cereal boxes inside out and tape them shut and use to ship with - totally plain and I've never had one refused.
You can do a date and time stamp along with a GeoLocation. Plus do a screen shot of the phone while mapping the location. Though they would probably say that your wrong.@DeaconJohnB@gmail.com wrote:
