Maritz help, gas station again!

Guys,

Hi,

I need some help please.
I am doing the station that pays like 6/5/1 and is mystery shopped.
For the water and air thingie, it says in the guidelines I might have to pay 50 cents or so. What do you guys do? How do you check for water and air. I haven't used this gas station for my daily needs so I am unsure how things work there. I am using it as a filler for gas :p

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanksss!!!!

Around my area water isn't normally available for car fluids, if I need to test the air compressor then I plop some coins in there and service my tires. If your tires don't need air it's easy to let a bit out with my air gauge then put it back in.

Extra expenditure sad smiley

Thanks Cettie.
After all these years, I figure 50 cents isn't going to break the bank

I check to see if the unit is on. That's all.

Seriously, nobody cares that you're offended.
I'm sure that I must be doing a different brand but all I have to do is check if it appears to be working. Don't have to test it.
Here in CA that brand provides air for free. In all of CA, if you buy gas, they are required to provide air for free--you ask them to turn it on. Outside of CA, I l check to see if there are hoses and if the machine is turned on. Here in CA some stations of other brands charge up to $2 each for water and air, thus the state requirement that they be given free to those who purchase gas.

I don't put money into the machines. I look for out of order signs, and to see if the hose is in good condition. I've never paid for air in my life, I'm not going to start now.
Why can't you ask the retail if they have air and does it cost if anything? I look for the machine and observe if it looks workable or damaged. Don't know if I ever saw a water machineconfused smiley
