Trader Joe’s, Vons (both competitor shops) and 76 gas.
Storm - While there is a hurricane season each year, in the Mid-Atlantic region a really big hurricane occurs once or twice in a lifetime, and they come with warnings. The last one for me was Sandy. I have to go back to 1960 when it was Hurricane Donna, and even then, we knew it was coming. Of course, some areas like Coastal Carolina deal with hurricanes more frequently. I guess you have to grow up with risks like seemingly yearly floods in the mid-west, earthquakes, and tornados in order to choose them over hurricanes.

2 grocery shops, 1 convenience store shop and 1 thrift store shop, all on the same stretch of road, about 4 miles apart.
For the next few days: mostly nearby assignments and a few far-flung [translation: on the other side of the beloved, wide open spaces] assignments. I will always prefer the distant shops because the personal perq is the wide open spaces. The local shops just fit in with dull and boring errands. Off yonder, there are a few fave places and the vast and wild spaces! Boring vs, Wild Hmm.

El Pollo Loco, Smart and Final (competitor) and Arco AM/PM (I actually like their hot dogs).
Kenasch....Canter's on Fairfax also opened in the outdoor mall at the Linq behind Flamingo. Owner died and kids took over, more and more deli's going to Vegas. Your right, Carnegies is at the Mirage.

The apartment shop was a bust. I have another scheduled for tomorrow. I'm waiting on details left out of the guidelines.

Today I MOD Pizza, a phone shop, Best Buy and Chase.
Very light MS day, as I have a ton of household errands to do. BoA notary shop, then to a different BoA for an auto loan shop. (Ironically, that is next door to a different bank, where I will close an account that was opened for an MS assignment, and have then shred all of their checks.)

A well paid bank shop, one block from a paid parking shop. I DO love two-fers. . Then a phone focus group of shoppers briefing a large bank client on specific shops conducted several months ago. The MSC has supplied a copy of the long report for my shop. (I did another last week and will do another next week. The MSC manager moderates and the client has about a dozen folks silently listening in.)
