Whole Foods where I spent more than I made.....

That's why it's called Whole Paycheck...
Got a big day tomorrow of convenience stores, Dunkin Donuts, Sam's Club merchandising (brochure racks), a grocery store recall effectiveness check, and then finishing with a BJs curbside dinner, so today I just completed home evaluation tests on some products I had to purchase on Friday. I'm still in my pajamas. Other than that, I have been watching TV, reading/posting in the forum, and eating.

Cheerios has some new blueberry cheerios that are pretty tasty. For breakfast, I put cut up fresh pineapple and raspberries on top of a bowl of blueberry cheerios with no milk. I used vanilla yogurt instead. It was yummy. Then I ate leftover veggie pizza. Why is it that being lazy and spending the day in pjs can make you so hungry? I did get around to making the bed, but thinking about getting back in it!
I am counting down the last few days of extra work for the month of June: Two days, three merch, and two shops. And that's it. smiling smiley

JAS, I saw the blueberry Cheerio's, but had regular this morning, just got back from my Ralph's job, how can one person buy so much food...better than drugs, guess I'm o.k. and with the rise in prices, don't get nearly as much as I used too, but bought ground turkey and making a burger for lunch with goat cheese, along with watching my Lifetime movie...sleeping with a killer....oh my!! Then more packing old stufff. it's 100% and windy, time to eat.

You are better off with the plain ones, less sugar. The blueberry ones have 8 grams of sugar per serving, LOL. I love goat cheese, that burger sounds yummy.

I decided to make shrimp and andouille sausage jambalaya for dinner. Haven't made that in a long time. Hubby wanted fried shrimp but that is messy and takes a long time to prep, and I am feeling so lazy! Plus fried food is not the best choice, we would end up having fried potatoes with it I am sure and I want to stay healthy. I finally showered and got out of my pjs when he came home from work, now off to the market for a bit.
@JASFLALMT I make fired shrimp in my air fryer with panko and they are so darn good. I put just about eveything in there. I am always so good during the week and then my boyfriend comes down on the weekend and loads me all up with fats lol. I could REALLY go for some jambalaya, though.

I too use Panko (a mix of that, regular breadcrumbs, and bisquick but mostly Panko), but I fry mine in canola or peanut oil. I was thinking about getting an air fryer. Maybe I will do that sometime soon.

I found some crawfish tail meat along with those jumbo shrimp and andouille when I was rummaging through my garage freezer. I have everything thawing, now just gotta go get the celery, garlic and stuff! I have green onion growing in my garden but my parsley isn't far along enough yet. It just got warm enough here this past month to start growing things. My tomatoes have flowers on them already though smiling smiley

Here is a recipe already...ground turkey, add spoonful of goat cheese when burger is almost done, toast bun, add Safflower mayo, tomato and Cole slaw, one Boar's head dill pickle and enjoy....love those pickles....it was gooood. Have been switching beef for turkey, trying to eat less red meat.

I worked my part time gig an extra day today and did 2 WaWa on the way home. They're not a lot, but they're super easy and dinner is covered!

Looks to me like the minor side trip into recipe land was the by product of a shop-related comment and not intended to squelch a thread that was running riot. I do not have a problem with that. I doubt that anyone seriously though that it was an attempt to derail the thread.

I got an air fryer for Christmas. It's still in the box. I'm going to try it out this week.

That BJs curbside shop I did last night was pretty awesome. I used that $10 off $40 coupon. They have this parmesan encrusted chicken breast that is HUGE and big enough for 2 people to share. It comes with broccoli and mashed potatoes. I got that with a side of spinach, 1 order of wings, 1 house salad, and 1 Caesar salad, and it came to $36.60 after the coupon. I tipped the very cute curbside guy $6 because it was pouring down rain (and he is really great at his job and looks good, too smiling smiley)

Today I am closing out a product retrieval project and getting my serpentine belt changed.
Someone has established a thread for recipes in the General Chat area. What would be wrong with posting recipes there? Eye rolls stretch the eye muscles. This is good. grinning smiley
