Where Are You Shopping Today?

A slightly bonused grocery shop (but they are simple and I’m over the awkwardness of asking the weird questions in the report), and a DoorDash delivery of Five Guys. Several of the grocery items I purchased had cash back offers on them as well as Ibotta and Checkout 51, so that was nice.

Hot turkey hoagie with cranberry sauce and stuffing added to it. You can also get it as a bowl, but to the purist, it has to be a squishy hoagie.

Walesmaven - There is a Wawa in Capitol Heights, MD, and another in Beltsville, MD. I think that both should be reasonably close to you. Time for you to sign up for a mystery shop at one of them!

To each their own, but that sounds disgusting.

myst,
Capital Heights is way too far, unless there were a $50 shop to pair with lunch. Beltsville is also a bit of a hike, but doable if there is a well paid shop or two to pair with lunch. I think College Park or DC locations might more easily be paired with other shops for me.

That said, the gobbler sounds like a carb bomb, waiting to explode. Tasty, but will not fit my restrictions on carbs. Even for a hambuger, I need to discard 1/2 of the bun, lol.

wales, a Gobbler is WaWa's signature staple fall hoagie. Think of it as Thanksgiving dinner on a roll. It's delicious! When I was in college, we used to line up to get them on the first day. I'm amazed that Subway has survived in Philadelphia.

There are several WaWas in DC, but none where you do your parking shops.

Honny, I think that there is a Wawa in College Park and it actually has a metered parking lot for that little shopping center. I will look for a bank shop within walking distance. I know that there are 2-3 banks right in that area.

WaWa is AWESOME! They set the standard for gas station food.

Yesterday I did a well bonused Oculus Go audit and a greatly bonused PO shop. Today, I will be doing 2 bonused Sprint shops.
I just realized that the bank shop on today's MS schedule is actually the mini-branch inside of the grocery store where I need to pick up supplies this afternoon. It sure will be easy to spot any signs and brochures in that 8 x 8 branch! The store is not an MS stop, lol.

Nothing for a month (unless something is just irresistible between now and then)

It's the cranberry sauce mixed with the stuffing and turkey that is the most offputting. And I am super picky about my stuffing anyway...but I do know that a lot of people like that sort of thing and I am probably in the minority.

JAS, it sounds so bizarre, but it actually works. It tastes so good! And it almost puts you in a carb coma just like Thanksgiving dinner.

SOOOO good!

Today was a gas station and a burger shop.

The gas station had a new requirement to take a pic of the car wash, if there was one. I remembered this when I was on my way to my next shop that was 12 miles away. In the parking lot of the burger shop, I looked at my exterior photos and saw a blue sign in the background. Carwash. I finish the burger shop and return to the gas station. The blue sign I saw was a Blue Rhino (propane or water) truck. There was no gas station.

It might work for people who like cranberry sauce. I don't, except for my aunt's homemade cranberry sauce. And the stuffing has to be perfect, too. And I'm one of those people who doesnt like my food touching on a plate, anyway. I can eat the heck out of some turkey, though!

In that case, you will not like the turkey sandwiches on the cranberry bread. These are not necessarily part of a shop. They are available sometimes. I have not shopped at those locations recently and I do not know what the shoppers are allowed or supposed to buty. I love these slightly tart sandwiches. The proportions of ingredients are good, and the sandwich is vaguely Christmas-y (with its berries in the bread and the lettuce near the turkey).

Meanwhile, I added a new-to-me assignment. It pays well and should be easy... It sounds easy... Those are my words, not theirs...

Today was an insomnia WaWa shop. I got my first Gobbler of the season. Later is a burger shop for lunch.

Good Earth bakery has bread made out of stuffing between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I haven't tried it because they sell out fast.

I would try cranberry bread, toasted or warm, with butter. That sounds kinda good.

I did a Freddy's shop Friday, reminded me of Steak and Shake without servers. The burger was great! I took the weekend off, busy week ahead.
Think Good Earth is hundreds of miles from here... *scurries away to do the lil geography lesson*... yup. It is. It showed me Minnesota! I live here. But how hard could it be to make the stuffing and then transform the stuffing into bread? The usual recipe sites do not mention this. Hmm...
