WHOM has already signed up for a trailer check for tomorrow, Friday, 8/20 or tonite at midnite? What is your featured movie or special trailer?

I am looking for audience raction to "PIRHANA 3D" and "CASE 9". Anybody seen these trailers b4? I have not.
I finally did one of these out of curiosity. Well, this one was similar -- it was an advertisement check. First two showings of the day, and while it was easy, still not worth the pay or time. Of course, if I had been invited to see the movie, that might have been a different story! But while some managers evidently do that, don't count on it as a guaranteed perk.

That said, I've subsequently noticed that these shops are often bonused. I'd consider doing them again for an increased fee. I think the trick is to wait until Thursday night before accepting.

By the way, I can confirm that the reference to "immediate" reporting time is when you arrive home, unless of course, it's specified that you have to call in.
Do they always have the same movie trailers showing for the featured movie? Or do they change it? Or are they missing a movie trailer?
I believe the point of the exercise is to see that they are showing the correct trailers at the correct times. If you are checking multiple theaters for the same feature, closely timed together, I would expect they would be likely to use the same trailer reel. But then again, they may just put on whatever reel is handy--which is not what they are supposed to do and is why you are there.

And for the correct movies. I know from the ad check that certain things are supposed to appear for G rated movies, but not for R, etc.
I'm also wondering if there are any other Mystery shop Companies that do trailer checks aside from certified? I was also dropped by them for no good reason, and signed up with Hanover, until their company closed down. There's gotta be some other companies that handle theaters. If you don't want to post it here, then please private message me.

When I logged into Service Sleuth today, I seen movie theater assignments in my state. I am not sure if they do them elsewhere though.

Forgive my grammar and spelling on the boards. I am off duty.
Service Check has some, Confero had some last year though I have not looked lately. I had to laugh, though because 'MarketForce' sent me an email today to sign up for merchandising and theater checks--of course through Certified again, so I took a pass.
Sorry thought I would bring this thread back instead of starting a new one. I just noticed that Certified has trailer checks for 2 different movies at the same theatre right next to my work. It looks like they have changed the requirements from what has been discussed in this tread as far as they only require you to check 1 showing in each theatre the movie is playing and throw in a few bucks for every addition showing you check. This would only be worth it for me if I could do the 2 movies however movie 1 has a showing of 1:05, movie 2 1:25, then movie 1 is in a 2nd theatre showing at 1:35. I'm assuming 10 minutes is not enough time to catch all of the trailers for the 2nd showing of the first movie but can I assume if the trailers I see are the same as the first showing then the ones I missed would be the same as well or could I confirm with an employee or manager the trailers I missed?

Nevermind I e-mailed certified and they said this would not work that I would need to watch the entire trailers being shown and since these are the only times showing I could make it to I guess I will have pass this time around.

Yes, assume nothing. I can tell you from the experience I had, that the managers do not necessarily know what's onscreen. I haven't done one another one, but I'd still do it again, if it was convenient and/or the fee were increased.
I do trailers, and I like them.

BUT, I always look for the word "ANY Showtime" in the instructions. Once I see those words, the nuliple trailer checks are mine to explore.

If need be, look for the Harry Potter trailer check in this forum. (I wrote it) but it does explain some of the up and downs of going from to one screen showing to the next, especially in the time frame of 8 different screen showing in a 2 hour span, with 10 minutes TC presentation time.

I have done TCs in two different theatres that were 7 miles apart. The movies in theatre #1 began at 2 pm and the movie at theatre #2 began at 3:30.

If the TCs are at the same theatre then find out how many showing are for movie #!, and base Ur TCs for movie #2,on the last TC for #1.

I genereally have every other Friday off from my 9 to 5, so "any showime" is early mid day. This leaves my other "any showtime" to be between 3pm t0 6pm, and another "any showtime" to be betwen 6pm to 11pm or last showing of the particular movie. This works for me, it may not work for everybody. (For $10 a first showing, I make it work.)

Keep in mind also, unless stipulated, "We are not obligated to watch the movie."

The reports have to be in by 8 am the following morning, so how I spend my post trailer check time is MINE.
Trailer checks, open checks, blind checks? That's the name of my game:-) Been doing them for three different companies for the last 8 years. I live for my movies. In my town, we have two 16 screen theaters and I usually do one or both every weekend. This weekend I am scheduled to to a Coke Audit on four different screens at one theater and an Open Check at the other theater. I will be busy with movies:-) BTW, The Adjustment Bureau was a great movie!! Haven't seen the Kings Speech? It is a must......Enjoy!
DanaBnnc: what other MSC does trailer checks. PM me if U don't want to answer on the board. I would like to know if there is any other compnay in my area.
