Maritz gasoline shop with wrong time on receipt!

Today I completed a gasoline shop and was in and out of the station well within the required time part. It wasn't until I came home and looked at the receipts to upload them, that I noticed the receipts were one hour ahead of the correct time, putting me out of the required daypart. The station is practically in my neighborhood, so I definitely know I wasn't in a different time zone. Could it be the cash register time was never changed the last time we had a time change? I don't know, all I know is I went at the correct time and the receipts are wrong. I called Maritz, explaining the situation because I didn't want to complete the submission only for it to be rejected. The team member could not assure me that it wouldn't be rejected, only told me to go ahead and submit it, and he would leave a note for his supervisor. Has anyone else been in this situation and if so was the shop accepted? I'm hoping Maritz will take my word for it because I have no way to prove it.

Something similar happened to me to. I had a mystery shop, then down the road I had a revealed audit, both with Maritz. When I pulled the receipts out to debrief, the mystery shop receipt had the same time listed as the revealed audit shop. I made a notation on both reports and they were both accepted. The incorrect time listed on the mystery shop would have put me in the wrong time frame too.
Do your reports and use the comment section to explain.

This really happens quite often.

I did the same gas station, making the same note every time for a year.

Last month, they had finally corrected their clock at the gas station.
Wrong receipt times are common. Just explain in the notes two or three times (using different words and phrases that say the same thing). I rarely get questioned further.
A lot of receipts have the wrong times. To be honest, I hardly ever look at the times on receipts. If an editor questions it, I explain it later. But they hardly ever do that any more. Maybe it's because I have done lots of shops now.

Exactly this. Don't worry about it. If it goes on hold because of this, put an explanation in the comments and it'll go away. If the comments aren't unlocked on the hold it means you definitely have a rookie editor and you just call and tell them.

Seriously, nobody cares that you're offended.
Yes, I would have just explained the time on the receipt was wrong and submitted the report. The actual time could be imbedded in the photos you took if you use a digital camera or a smart phone, proving you were there when you said you were.
Good idea, but I could not do that this time because the shop did not require photos.

I just make a note of it on the report form and no problem with them

Yes, I saw today that you said it was a shop. I think I saw the name Maritz and automatically thought of revealed audits.
