I agree that it would be inappropriate to call other numbers if it had been only 24 hours or 2 days, or over the weekend, since you left messages for a scheduler and did not hear back. HOWEVER, if it has now been an ENTIRE WEEK that you have been trying to reach the scheduler with no return call or email, and you have an issue, it's time to escalate the contact. Maybe the scheduler is on vacation, has had an accident, or has quit.
