Five Guys - Delivery

I see a Five Guys delivery shop available in my area, but when I go to the Five Guys website and search for that particular location, it only shows pick-up. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, what did you do?

Sounds like it's time to contact that MSC's help desk. smiling smiley
How are the delivery orders packaged? I think they used to be simply bagged like the dine-in orders.
They only offer pick up, but delivery services are the ones who get the orders and deliver it to you. You order through the delivery service.

In my area, you are supposed to use a third party delivery service, like Ubereats, doordash, grubhub, etc. It is a little frustrating, because the MSC does not list which exact service you are to use in the job description...you have to accept the shop before you can read the paperwork and see which delivery service you are supposed to evaluate. The problem is, some delivery services don't deliver from a specific location to my residence, even if another delivery company would. So once I had to cancel a shop because the required service (ubereats) would not deliver from this specific 5G location to my home address, even though another one (doordash) would. It would be nice if the MSC would list the required delivery company for each shop in the job description so that shoppers would have this information before signing up (and possible having to cancel afterwards).

@MSF I'm thinking the orders are bagged the same way as in the past (entrees/burgers wrapped in foil, fries in cup and bag, etc.), but now the outer bag will be "sealed" with a sticker that is supposed to show that the order has not been "tampered" with. When I did an online 5G shop and was waiting for my food, I saw the staff preparing orders for doordash/ubereats drivers this way.
For the longest time I did not take the delivery shop near me because the FG website showed that they never had anyone to deliver to me. After posting here, I learned that the shops are for third party services. In my case, they used Doordash for my local restaurant and they delivered to me. And yes, they SHOULD tell you who the delivery service is before you take the shop so you can make sure that they deliver to you. As it stands, they tell you to decline the shop after you are assigned it if it cannot be delivered to you.

As an aside, at least in my area the delivery shops are rarely taken until the price goes up to $15-20. Possibly because people aren't close enough or because of the same problem you're describing.

Happens all the time for me, I take the screenshot and report it as a location that I couldn't place an order for and take my reduced pay and move on!
The prices at Five Guys keep going up and up. The reimbursement no longer covers the required minimum purchase, whether delivery, eat in or take out.

Mine does if I order a veggie sandwich or a hot dog. Otherwise I'll settle for a small Burger and pay a little bit out of pocket and make sure I get enough for the fee to cover it.
I've done the delivery shops and always had to order on the delivery service website and not the 5G website.
The guidelines for the delivery shops are very clear about using a delivery service website to order.
It's pretty easy to log into the delivery services in your area, i.e. Door Dash or Ubereats and their website will show the restaurants they service.
I've had varying fries quality from my delivery shops depending on how the restaurant "outer bags" the order. If the order arrives in a paper bag, the fries stay relatively crisp due to moisture escaping. If in a plastic bag, with the fries inside the paper bag, they arrive soggy and inedible. Hit or miss!
