Kroger

I really enjoyed the competitor shops last cycle; I hope they post some this month.

I asked my scheduler she said all shops have been posted without answering when others may be posted.
Does anyone know why dates don’t show
Up in some of the available shops? I’m assuming I hit may max for certain locations… does anyone know the max # of shops
Per location and what timeframe? The schedule hasn’t written me back yet and I could not find the info on the shopper site. Thanks!
I forget what the actual date limits are but you can only do so many full or self checkouts per day. I think it's 5. Then it won't let you add for that day. You can only do so many pick-up shops per wave and then they aren't available and tell you to "contact the scheduler" to schedule.
I can't figure out why more and more of the Kroger shops (pickup, instore and fuel) say to "email the scheduler" I can't even open them and look at what dates are needed. I guess I don't understand the rules and limitation per day, per cycle and per year.
I'm guessing maybe on pick ups, it is if you already have 8 scheduled that month. If you email the scheduler they MAY approve a 9th. And then for in store, I don't know, but maybe you've already done that store for this round?
I never had to email scheduler until last posting. The fuel shop closest to my home
said email scheduler whereas fuel and in store shops far from my home did not. As i have 5 star rating I never have had to email for shops. I emailed and was given available dates. There were no pick up or competitor shops listed unless I was late in looking. Mostly full serve in store and far away locations meaning over 20 miles. Got an email with a list of shops all over 50 miles from home all in store yesterday many in towns I never heard of.. Although some are willing to travel long distances for shops I cannot justify traveling long distances for in stores which accounting for time traveling, gas and the aggravation of having to walk around an unfamiliar store noting so many items without a more worthwhile pick up shop the same day to make the travel worthwhile. The 86 question in store report is a bit much! I am to the point of not doing any in stores unless I am able to get pick up shops. The added items to look for without a pay increase seemed unfair as pick ups literally take a few minutes to do without 86 question reports to enter with multiple staff descriptions, I think a pay rate adjustment equalizing the 2 types of shops would be fair but not hopeful it will happen.

I have a question. I've seen folks talking about doing self-serve and full serve and a pickup order all at the same store on the same day. I've never tried, but now I would like to do a full serviceand a self-service shop locally, but once I picked one, the system would not let me pick the other. I don't buck the system, and I ask for special favors from schedulers. So I'm wondering how it is that folks have been able to do what they claim.. doing all 3 or 4 shops at the same location on the same day.
The most I’ve been able to stack is 3 per location per day. A pickup, a fuel, and the EITHER a full service OR a self checkout.
I have never done in-store traditional and self service shops for the same store on the same day. I have done pickup, fuel and ONE in-store shop on the same day for the same store. But lately it is not as easy as it used to be.
Nola,

Yes, I have done that.. but the folks claim that they are able to schedule and do both inside shops on the same day along with the other shops.
Not possible to do self check and full check same day. I have done a pick up and either self or full same store same day. Recently got list of shops in areas all far away say 50 to 75 mikes one way and of a list of about 30 only 3 pick ups. Seems pick up numbers are on decline. My time is worth more than their 9 shop fees.
I don't think pickup numbers are on decline. In my area, if you are more than 15 minutes past when the shops pop up, it's too late. I was a day late a couple months ago and think I only got 4 shops total.
Curious how you get shops when just posted- I am often busy and not on my computer- if I hit it right I et the shops. Just annoyed when say I am on another shop and busy I do not see the shops posted and by the time I get to the computer they are all taken.

I just check a lot near the day I think the shops will be posted. It's usually the week after the last round of shops. It helps whenever the scheduler gives a heads up email. Sometimes I get lucky, sometimes I am not.

The day after the last day of shops in the current round, I set my calendar to remind me to check the MSC website twice a day, in the morning and the afternoon until the new shops are posted. Last month I was 5 hours late because I was out working, and I missed out on a bunch of shops. This month I was sitting right here in my chair and they posted right in front of my eyes and I started grabbing them as fast as I possibly could.
This current rotation I was not able to self assign most of the close instore shops, but there was a pickup shop available that I could still grab. I also had an email that the regular scheduler would be on vacay. I notice that the instructions say to pace your shopping schedule so that you can go throughout the year. Maybe I had done too many in the first four months (if 15 per year is the max).
I haven't been kept from doing any of my regular shops because of rotation. Only folks beating me to them when they are posted.. lol. But each cycle I only do one of each shop at the locations that I shop. Sometimes if one of the inside shops comes back toward the end of the cycle with a little higher pay, I'll grab it, or make my son do it.
I work from home and check multiple times a day when I think they will post. It's worse than trying to get Taylor Swift tickets! ????

That is how it's done, folks!

Or trying to score the ocean view campsite for Labor Day weekend...
No more Harris Teeter competitors for now. The contract wasn't renewed- according to the scheduler.
