Sassie photo upload issue

For the past six months or so I've had an ongoing issue uploading photos in Sassie from my phone. It starts to upload and then says the photo is 100% uploaded, but then instead of going back to the survey nothing happens. This will happen across multiple MSC Sassie sites and then a few hours later resolve itself, but it happens pretty often. This has been discussed here before but I can't figure out how anyone actually fixed it.

I have had it happen over the years. I think it is usually due to poor cell reception. It doesn't happen to me on my home wifi (using phone at home).

I have a mac and a pc at home. Using the mac for photo uploading onto reports has been a game changer for me. (Teaching the old dog new tricks every day.)
I second Bay's statement. I usually encounter the same issue when cellular service is sporty or cut...like swapping between cellular and wifi data
Sassie on the phone sux. It is not an app, it is the website rendered for a phone and done very poorly. I did some jobs months ago and have stayed away from Sasie since. They don't pay enough for me enter at home (usually) so If I can't complete the job on a phone I don't do it. I considered a tablet but at the time the tablet cameras were quite privative compared to a phone.
That usually only happens to me when I'm in an area with very little cell phone signal. I usually drive to the nearest Lowes (they have better wifi than Home Depot or Walmart) and finish my reports in their parking lot.
Thanks for the replies everyone. Unfortunately this is happening to me at home while connected to my speedy wi-fi.
I have had this issue and I haven't been able to figure it out either. If the image gets to 100% upload and doesn't go back to the survey page, if I switch to that page, it logs me out of sassie and deletes what I've already entered. I have given up and just do it from a laptop now!
I have been having this issue, and it has been happening to me since the most recent update that I had for my Samsung device. I'm also having occasional issues uploading photos on shop metrics. In that case, it doesn't upload the photo and it logs me out of my report.

And I'm on an iPhone, so it doesn't seem like this has anything to do with the operating system.

Individual Shopmetrics sites like Coyle tend to work fine for me, although like with Sassie only being able to upload one photo at a time is sure annoying. GigSpot is the absolute worst when it comes to glitches that cause reports to have to be completely redone.
Ironically I just grabbed some jobs where I will have to use Sassie on my phone. The trick I found is only have the site with the survey open and to not switch to or open any other windows. I have had the 100% upload then then stuff hangs. I was able to get through my last few of these mostly painless. Save often.
I will do the jobs on my phone but will probably bring my laptop so I can confirm and submit in the parking lot.
I just encountered this problem again and I followed your advice. Sure enough closing all the other tabs on my phone meant I could upload the photos. Many thanks @87Supra!

No problem. I did a few more recently with no issues. If you have to open another window or app save first. It is still not as good as an app like Go Spot Check or Mobi Audit but once you figure out how not to make it not break when using it can be acceptable.
Send the pic to your email and then save it on to your desk top computer to download on the report. This is what I do with audio recordings that won't upload from my phone.
Oh my, that would take FOREVER to enter reports. Route shoppers could never do this.

Yeah, most Sassie jobs don't pay enough to go do it and come home and enter it. If I can't complete it on site and take a quick look at home (spelling) then submit, I don't do it. Unless it pays enough to compensate me for my enter it at home time.

I feel comfortable enough knowing the Sassie limitations on a phone, that I will continue to do certain Sassie work.

I have found that problem with Shopmetrics but only with Ipsos. If I try to do anything else on my phone, the Ipsos site signs me off, losing any work I've done.

Yo, Admins!

Please implement a Don't Like button.

TIA

Have synthesizers, will travel...
I assume you dislike Sassie, not me, haha!
The problem is these companies don't want to spend the money for a dedicated app. I know that work gets done much more efficiently when I am using an app rather than the page rendered for a phone.

I did do a few last week with no issues but having to babysit the web page and save all the time does suck.

One day they will all have a proper app, I hope/
Quite frankly they did have dedicated app.....ISS and Presto, that is meant to be more modern and better, but apparently haters just gonna hate. People will complain no matter what. I have not experience issue with neither of them, and I find that they are all good and easy to use app. But people are just picky and they don't like it just because they are "different".

On a side note...another app that I like is GSC used by customer impact....however it seems like there's no way to self assign and auto load mission, MSC has to load mission into GSC manually, and it is still a third party app so there's that.
Presto can not be used to report shops on the Sassie platform. You can FIND those shops, but it can not be used for applying for the shop or reporting it. ISS is also a completely different platform. Has nothing to do with shops on Sassie.

True, but I am simply referring to "building an app" part. Sassie's coding and structure is ancient, there's almost no way to just build an app around it without reconstruct the whole frame. If you are doing that, building a brand new platform is usually much easier solution, thus Presto and ISS. That's also probably why IPSOS is to engaged into that and actively moving more and more jobs over to Presto, like it or not.
Hello.. I am interested in any mystery shop.. can u tell me what openings you have. Near university drive and sunrise blvd
