Personal attacks on other MS Forums

So, why am I being attacked here?

I have posted what I hope is valuable info and advice on this forum. But I am being attacked on nearly every thread on which I have posted. Is this one day some sort of record for attacks or something?

I don't think everything you have posted has been attacked. This certainly has not been. YMMV.

I hate the Volition admin, he thinks that he is a GOD ... very unfriendly. I`ll never visit that site again.
Even on this forum you won't find much support for posting links to sites that have nothing to do with the topic at hand.

Definitely not if they are attempts to sell stuff. There is Craig's List for that.
Correction walesmaven. You will not find ANY support on this forum for posting links to such sites. That is considered an insult to any forum owner. Attempts to get free advertising, get rich quick schemes and other such garbage will be reported and blocked. It would be different if they even bothered to ask permission first.

How about taking a minute to think about what you are posting before you hit the submit button?...winking smiley

mrcomputer,
Was your last comment for me or for AnticGod? If for me, why, pray tell?

walesmaven. As a Forum owner, your comment about links struck me wrong. If you feel it was taken out of context, just forget my post. You have been on the defensive since you landed here. If you wish to contribute and assist fellow shoppers, please do so. Everyone is here to learn and help. If that is not your intention - You are cleared for takeoff...winking smiley

Just asking??? 'Cause I am new to this or any other site that has been mentioned here, whatever it is. But...how does anyone ever get anything done if every day they check out all the forums on this site and on the "fore mentioned site" and some other site that someone mentioned?? I know I am rather naive. After all I have only been working with the public since 1968, and part of that was with the State Police, but I thought our main goal in life was to get out there, do the best we can do, provide for our children, attempt to make the world a better place, and pray we go home to our family at the end of the day. This mystery shopping is a piece of cake! Here it is in a nutshell. All you have to do is be a regular person, pay attention to how you would want things done if you were the owner (or receiving the food, etc.), and report them all back to the ones who hired you to do this minor chore. Can I have an AMEN? Sorry, I am a Southern Baptist.
Of course you get out there and do it. I generally flow through a couple of forums a couple of times a day to see what is happening. I helps me know what companies are causing issues (I truly hate to work for nothing). When you are pretty systematic about it, reviewing new stuff on a forum takes only a couple of minutes. Mystery shopping SHOULD be a piece of cake and mostly it is until some company starts gaming the shoppers.

Ive noticed every company asked about on Volition, regardless of how bad it is is answered with
"It is a pleasure to work for ------"

I find that suspicious.
Perhaps you are reading current posts about companies. I tend to use the 'search' feature there rather than read through the threads sequenced from most recent post. And with any forum you begin after a while to find posters you have felt a kinship with about some companies and that gives them credibility about their response to other companies. I frankly figure that someone who has joined within the past 30 minutes and posted one love letter or hateful/spiteful has little credibility at all. I want to get to know them better before I will accept their opinion.
And to add to what Flash says, I think the same thing here. We have seen some plants come in to sing the praises of an MSC. They post one time, and never again.

Big George,
Some big name MSCs have very current, very, very negative reports on their threads on volition.com. Even people who post most often here often report updates on negative events first reported on volition.com.

Big George.

I find the posters on this forum to be a truthful guide the behavior of MSC's. These good folks are not trying to sell books, shoes, Amway, etc. This site is an accurate source of info. I fully support it...

I do this, but not frequently. Who here would you say fits the definition of "Even people who post most often here often report updates on negative events first reported on volition.com."? Because I just don't see that very frequently, and am curious why you have this impression.

Gosh, I personally find laughing and criticizing Volition an excellent way to relax after a long day of mystery shopping. And it is such an EASY target. smiling smiley
LOL. I knew we had something in common! :-)

I go to V every once in a while to look something up. It's so big most topics and most companies have been covered. Sometimes I even post something there, if a company makes me really happy OR if they HAVEN'T PAID ME - in case you guys hadn't figured that out about me, late payment angers me greatly.

I like to laugh at V. I especially like to laugh at the V posters who come to this forum to defensively argue when they believe V has been criticised.

laughter keeps you young................
SHOPTILLYOUDROP....my feelings to a tee....they are someone to target (if you must), and I NEVER go to V, haven't been there for over a year, just live a happier life without them. I found the "higher ups' on V really haven't done "high end" shops, hotels, upscale restaurant...they push Market Force, Trendsource and the likes, hard to learn from them. I have found good info. here, enjoy the banter, and Walesmaven, I'm sorry you feel this way, I haven't noticed anyone being unsupportive of you. I have my days when I think I'm being ganged up on, I enjoy your contribution, let it roll off and continue.

Live consciously....
