BBQ chicken pizza from Trader Joe's and a salad while I worked on my Thanksgiving gravy. It will be finished and ready for the freezer tomorrow. One thing down, 178 to go.

I am going to a concert of Ok Baptist Singing Woman tonight so we are stopping at Chick Fil A for supper. So malke my order a number one no pickle , diet lemonade. I may be a little bad and get a lemon pie too
Had an enchilada platter with beans yesterday when meeting a shopper buddy for lunch (not a shop). There was plenty left so will have that for dinner tonight with the addition of some guacamole, chips and extra enchilada sauce.

We had breakfast for dinner because the dishes from that meal just filled the dishwasher with no items left out or hand-washed. Not a bit creative, but practical.

I bought my Thanksgiving turkey today, 8 pds and cute, so now I'm cooking it today for weeks sandwich's, having asparagus and roasted potato, so, maybe a prime rib for the turkey day.

I've had weddings, birthday dinners and so many food shops lately I can't remember the last time I cooked. Healthy eating has has taken a nose dive.
Sick in bed hoping hubby will make some chicken soup.
One of my housemates had a big family dinner and brought home a lot of lovely ham. I had lots of mashed yams left, so we traded. Last evening I had ham, yams and pork and beans. Tonight I will have leftovers from MY special dinner: turkey dark meat, stuffing, gravy, cauliflower in a light cheese sauce, a nice Malbec. I might have a little dark chocolate and more wine for dessert. Tomorrow, the last of the ham, yams and beans. Along about Tuesday it may be time to cook again, lol.
hehe, you all missed it. Before I hit "post" I discovered that I had "mashed yaks" instead of yams. No beasts of burden were actually harmed in the preparation of these meals.

Pizza tonight, Monday night the guys will fix their own supper because I can not eat anything but clear liquild things like both. Tuesday I get a recipe for Jeff to make a crock pot supper , I will be sleeping most of the day. I have a medic thing happening Tuesday.
Tonight will rough it, a combo of leftovers including, last of turkey and Cole slaw, combo mushrooms sauted in olive oil, lemon and a carrot cake for dessert...I never eat dessert, but what the heck.

Smoked turkey and corn chowder with sweet potatoes. It was warm enough Thanksgiving day to smoke the leg quarters of our bird. The rack and wing tips made stock on Friday.
