At my last trip to Wegmans, I couldn't find that sauce, but I found others that were tasty.

For dinner I had:
chips and salsa
grilled shrimp in garlic sauce
salad
cerveza

I still see the Grandpa sauce at Wegmans. What I don't see anymore is the COFFEE flavored yogurt in single cups. I'm bummed...

Made my own version of skillet lasagna with lots of vegetables and a little bit of ground beef. I did Saute all the veggies in the beef fat though.

Home made chocolate chip cookies and a huge glass of milk ;-)

My grandmother taught me how to make chocolate chip cookies and how to cross-stitch...and being I was her last grandchild, she passed along a lot of good character traits during our one-on-one days. As a teenager and into early adulthood, I took care of her yard and best I could around her house. I could go on...

That's just part of what I think of when I see or make home made chocolate chip cookies.

Thanks for letting me share just some memories.
My Mom got me into cross stitching too. I've made some beautiful pieces. My grandmother was an expert crocheter, knitter and seamstress. Unbelievable what she could create. Cross stitch is relaxing.
Dinner all day was sauce, ziti, chicken meatballs, chicken parmesan, steamed broccoli drizzled with olive oil and garlic, focaccia. Ice cream, Madeline cookies (bakery), oranges, strawberries, grapes, bananas. Bailey's for me, DH and Mom
MTS, we had almost the same meal, we had chicken parm and broccoli with olive oil and garlic....that's it though. smiling smiley yours sounds nicer smiling smiley

Yep, my grandmother did all that too and would pick up dress patterns from the store to make. One time I fell and tore the shoulder of a polo shirt. My grandmother embroidered(?) a large black widow spider on that shoulder area. It was so cool looking! She could cook great stews as well.
Home made pizza and hot wings from scratch with a salad and all the sauces ????
@maverick1 Your Grandmama is amazing. There are no words to describe how much I miss mine.
I've been invited to an invent.
I looked at the menu: duck pate, coq au vin, vegetables, rhubarb cake.
Sounds good smiling smiley

Kimchi fried rice with eggs, topped with chopped scallions. Unseasoned steamed carrots. Dessert will have to be Oreo cookies and/or strawberries.

Made a huge pot of bone broth and then used a batch of it to make tofu veggies soup and froze the rest to use in the future.
G3B, can I ask about your recipe? what kind of broth and seasonings you use?
I found a tip I want to try.....tofu cooked on a waffle iron, apparently you can make it crispy by dusting it in cornstarch.
Ordering burrito bowls tonight from a local guac place that just opened. I have fruit, yogurt and ice cream. :-)
