What are you having for dinner? AGAIN!

Mongolian tofu, Jasmine rice and sauteed bok choy ????. Oranges, apples and cupcakes.

Question marks appeared in lieu of a veggie pic, LOL.

I bought the ingredients for Vietnamese salad rolls - have never made them before, fingers crossed.

Yum Okie and BB! Rigatoni with lots of Parmesan and fresh mozzarella. Grilled chicken skewers with tomato, onion, green peppers and zucchini. Strawberry yogurt and fresh strawberries.
Ramen with edamame and chicken bone stock. Comfort food since it’s finally getting cooler.
Round steak, spinach, jalapeno poppers, fruit
Okie, that sounds wonderful. Your own creation or were you following a recipe? almost seems photo worthy lol.

My dinner yesterday was kimbap from Aldi. I fell victim to the hype. IMO, it's all hype, won't be repeating.

Went tonight. @Okie, @ gukka and @barefootbliss, I think you would enjoy hot pot dining. OMG, beautiful, gorgeous, fresh veggies, tofu, bean sprouts, rice, broccoli, mushrooms, sauces, fresh garnished, all sorts of bok choy, greens, so much I can't list, choice of broth (I always get veggie) but there is bone broth and other exotica. I get exhilarated when I see the spread. $23 with extras for protein. DH and other males ordered chicken, beef, shrimp, gyozas, etc. This place is Japanese but the Chinese ones are just as good

Madetoshop that place sounds great! I love Asian hot pot! I love Asian cuisine overall. Where I used to live, we had independently owned hot pot restaurants all over the city (large Asian population)...and they were great, especially on very cold days.
Where I live now, we just have one of the chain locations for KPOT - have you tried KPOT?

Life was passing like a hand waving from a train I wanted to be on
A KPOT opened up not so close to us recently. Have not been but on our agenda. The Japanese hot pot venue is local near my Mom's house. Beautiful, Clean, spacious, fresh ..we love it. DH prefers his steak and potatoes but he's likes it, we think, lol.
Okie, KPOT is a hot pot dining restaurant. I had bibimbap once. Delicious. The restaurant was so, so dark i.e. nightclub. Unbeknownst to me, I ate raw egg. I would have never eaten it had I known. I still won't eat raw egg yolk or runny eggs . Eggs Benedict, no!
Have an entire Hibachi table reserved for us tomorrow night! Uugh, beaus will be attending. Great minds think alike.
Those hibachi places where people sit around a communal table can be fun...depending on the chef....my relatives all like to go. They used to be very popular - Benihana was the chain I think.

Local Hibachi grill tonight. Chef was fabulous and egged on by rambunctious menfolk. My Mom and I had Tofu Teriyaki, Veggie Tempura, some of DD's Veggie Negiri (sushi) and tried her Banana Tempura dessert as well (yuk). Others ordered chicken, filet mignon, shrimp, spicy tofu, chicken veggie gyozas, shrimp tempura, you name it. Lots of laughs. I had some sort of vodka cocktail that DH ordered for me. Yes! The Benihana by us is run down and not so clean. We stopped going there years ago. It was great back then.
I've noticed that after so many years....chains just lose their thing, so I guess that's why almost all of them eventually go out of business. Except for Texas Roadhouse of course lol - they stay on top of their thing and their thing stays good.

We have a fish truck that makes stops in the area. I got some clams from them and made Manhattan clam chowder today, first time ever to make it homemade. Wasn't too shabby...lo.....reminding myself of Adam Shandler lol.
