What are you doing today? (besides shopping)

Exciting week. Roof and gutters/leaders replaced. Looks fabulous. Awesome roofer. I drove myself and everyone else crazy deciding on a color. Next!

Today the morning was taking my DD to her speech session, breakfast, find a new swimming suit and summer outfit for DD. Then it was on to a birthday party. Hot wings for dinner and now I trying to will myself to exercise but I'm sleepy!
Recently read Unselfie. Learned about standing up to bullies and other things that we might, unfortunately, need to do. Today, saw (in June's Journey game, of all places) an example of how moral courage is "supposed" to work with bullies. Wish we did not need to do these things...

Flew home to Chicago from 7 days visiting daughter in Oakland CA. I'm exausted from all the sightseeing via foot.
Tried a new brand of tights. Purchased according to the price point. Pretty sure that my facial contortions during the donning process would have won a prize for ghastly grotesqueness, or exquisite contortionism, or something...

We're making party plans. My niece has hired a psychic friend of hers to come to my sister's house and also invited a group of friends and relatives to be there for this event. Apparently, the psychic is super super intuitive, so there's the entertainment factor.
So we're doing the menu today and letting others choose what they want to bring via group text.
Also headed to the lake today for a walk...there's a walking path around it.

Flashback... Anyone remember Margaret Sutton's Judy Bolton? Young amateur sleuth Judy Bolton and her little friends solved mysteries and explored occult themes. I might still have the book about exposing
the fake psychics. Something about a crystal ball in the title? What a gas!

Anyyywaaaaayyy, for giggles I am comparing math textbooks from different decades. There seems to be no formula for presenting math that is classic, timeless, and enduring...
