What are you doing today? (besides shopping)

Wow, you're really giving your all to mystery shopping!

I had a similar issue when I did one of those shops. A radio button was set to delivery, but I was assigned a carry out. Sent multiple messages to the company with no result. The scheduler worked with me, and I eventually got paid.

Friday, in the wee hours, I fell asleep briefly while doing something in the computer. Then I fell down and hit my right eye and cheek on my metal desk. I now sport a huge 'black eye.' Many patients in the clinic thought I took a spill on the icy ground. Everything is fine,no fracture.

My last shop was noted as incomplete, instead of completed. It seems the editor was confused about the App assigned to me but would not admit her mistake. I think these online shops would be a problem as the people on the other side are not as well versed.

Hubby and I went on a road trip to an arts center so he could get a new belt, then spent a few hours wandering around the nearby area.

Irene, when I lived alone I never cooked, I ate out most of the time or just did simple fare. I can eat on far less money by myself than when I feed my husband and friends/family. And I would rather go shopping! I also love Brussels sprouts!!!! But I scored a killer deal on that tenderloin. It's grass-fed Australian beef that was on sale for $6.99 a pound for the whole tenderloin. I could have had them cut it into steaks and grind the scrap into hamburger meat, but I decided to use the scraps for my crockpot to make pasta sauce and cook the largest, meatiest portions as that roast. The trimmed roast weighs about 3 pounds. I am roasting garlic cloves which I will mash and mix with some butter and lemon pepper, and then I am going to stuff the center with that and toothpick it back together.
I have a long work week for a merchandising project so I won't have much time for cooking this week, we will probably eat pasta at least 3 times this week because it's easy and my husband can cook that pretty well (especially with pre-made sauce). Tomorrow doing a shop at Whole Foods and Tuesday the merchandising gig starts...looking forward to the paid workout!
Definitely spend less for one, but I do eat well with my shopping gig....thing is you make the most exciting dishes, my mouth waters reading them......6.99 is a good price, sales are great, we have them from Wed. through Sunday. I picked up avocados for .48, and grapefruit 2/1.00, and a bottle of coffee liquor for 6.99...love a sale.

When I lived in Florida, all my friends were chefs and their wives or charter boat captains and their wives (back then I didn't know any female chefs or boat captains). We used to do dinner/wine parties where everyone took turns hosting. I ate a lot of great, fresh food, mostly seafood. And of course, I worked as a server throughout college in a nice restaurant. I learned a lot. I wish avocados were less expensive here. If I get one for $1 it's a good deal!
When I was going with my friend in Sarasota, Fl. we used to go to a quant restaurant on the water and they'd catch fresh fish, was so great, nothing like that here. He always wanted to take me to Maine for Lobster and stuff, but we didn't make it....someday maybe, it's on my bucket list.

Maine is great! Beautiful place. My husband and I took a trip where we flew to Maine, rented an SUV, and then took a ferry across the bay of Maine (bay of Fundy) to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, drove all over Nova Scotia. We ate lobster at this outdoor restaurant where you pick your own lobster and they steam them for you, sat outside with a view of the lighthouse and the cliffs. Lobsters were $3.99 a pound...yumm.
Great regret that we didn't get to do that, timing was always off, I hear it is beautiful..he wanted to fly to Boston, visit his sister, rent a car and drive up....

What I am doing today is appreciating the fine smell and feel of freshly washed and colored hair after a day and a half of coconut, avocado and other oils mixed and drenched hair!
My local Aldi has them on sale this week....just in time for the Big Game next Sunday. Maybe the grocery stores by you will do the same.

Used up THREE HOURS of my life online and on the phone trying to figure out what Medicare Plan I'm going to enroll in (turn 65 in 2 months!) Did my back exercises, walked the dog, perused the Forum a few times. Went out and bought milk and bananas! Reheating up some lasagna for supper (made a big pan of it on Saturday). Kind of a nice, boring day. Don't have any work scheduled this week, so going to just do "stuff"...I've got a LARGE plant that needs replanting SO badly....gonna get a bigger urn for it and get that done this week as well.
After a busy week of nicely bonused shops I managed to get an ear infection so I'm done working for a few days. I am roasting carrots, broccoli and potatoes with olive oil, garlic and rosemary, for dinner. I tend to like plain whole foods although if Jas wanted to cook for me i wouldn't turn it down. I also have to say I am really enjoying the Endless Fiction thread. I feel totally outclassed so don't contribute much but most of those entries have me doubled over with laughter. Thank you to all contributors.
Gym, haircut, Asian grocery store. They had Napa cabbage and small bok choy on sale for 49 cents a pound. Both jumped in my bag.

Get medical records transferred to my new primary care doc. Lay out a plan for 27 February shops that are in the basket so far. A few groceries and a bank deposit. Lazy day otherwise. Had the luxury of what our British cousins refer to as "a lie in."

What kind of merchandize to do do and for whom . Do they have any opening in OK that you know of
I turned in my research paper on Saturday. I got an A on it. Even if I don't do the last assignment (which I did yesterday), I will get an A in the class.

The course was Business Research. The professor was awful. I had to babysit my grades to make sure he scored me correctly. The next class is a math course. That's right up my alley!

Going into my second month of having a renter, and all is well...cash for Feb. was left, we see one another for 10 minutes, my marriage should have been so easy...hope this renter stays for a long time. I consider myself lucky.
Tomorrow will be slight housework, and a Chrysler oil change, a first since I have a Honda Accord.

Finally found some shoes!! I have needed new dress shoes for a few months....hubby gave me some money for Christmas to get some, because it's an ordeal for me to shop for them! I have a high instep, so I can't just buy anything. Plus, I need to stay away from narrow heels or heels higher than about 1 1/2", because of my back. So today I had the time, and actually found TWO PAIR of shoes at Shoe Carnival!! WOO-HOO! Happy shoe camper, here!
