smartphones...what kind do you have and why?

I just got my first LG phone a few months back. Why did you have to replace it after a month? I also have the V60 and agree, it is the best phone ever!

I am very loyal to Verizon for my wireless carrier. I don't get any dropped calls or weak signals. I've been their customer for over 10 years.

I plan on switching to Google fi. It is only $20 and I don't use 5 GB data. I don't even use 2 mb data, I keep paying for data I don't use. All I do on my moto G7 power is surveys and play rento monopoly, pyramid solitaire and yahtzee. smiling smiley I take pictures and text, make a few calls. I still LOVE the Motorola phone. The turbo power only takes about 1.5 hrs to charge and it lasts almost 3 whole days.
I have been a Verizon cell phone customer since before it was Verizon. My first cell phone weighed about 8 lbs and came with a carrying case with a shoulder strap. That must have been around 1990, lol.

Based in MD, near DC
Shopping from the Carolinas to New York
Have video cam; will travel

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.

Since when?
Is it true iPhone chargers have to be bought separately now? ...Apple...slowed revenue...needing to gouge fans in other ways. lol

Does anyone use Google fi?
What is it?

I'm familiar with lots of Google stuff, but not this.

Thanks, I was too lazy to Google it. winking smiley

Feel free to post your experiences. You are officially the only person I know who has it. tongue sticking out smiley
Shop, you may have the same Motorola phone I do. I have the turbo charger and it lasts for 3 days. That's great in comparison to others.
tmobile pay as you go plan, $50 a month, samsung galaxy j prime. really good phone does everything i need to do and it was free with $150 pre purchase of service which was 3 months

google fi is an extremely limited mobile/internet service by google... ATT sued the heck out of them in just about every town and city they tried to expand in. ATT owns access to most of the poles that are used to transfer service.. they finally pretty much gave up on expanding

I tried to order this a few days ago. I'm a dork. It's not out yet!
You are not a dork. The marketing has been over the top.

I need a bigger screen for reports. That's why I want that max. I went from a iPhone 6 Plus to an iPhone 7 (not plus). Big mistake.
I looked at the Galaxy foldable when I was doing a shop last week and it is nice, but I am not paying a double house payment for a phone. No, it is closer to three times our house payment. It is not the razor flip phone, this is the one that opens like a book.
Why not get a tablet if you need a bigger screen for reports. You can get one that only uses WiFi at a reasonable price. Then tether it to your phone via Bluetooth to use your phone's data plan or park in multiple store parking lots and use their WiFi to enter report.
LG is offering an additional screen to attach to the V60. I'm amazed at what phones can do now. This additional screen will give a dual monitor appearance.

I decided not to switch to Goggle fi. I stay with Straight talk. I get great service and they answer the phone when I call. I cannot complain about $38 a month for what I get. I send a lot of pictures and use internet a lot.... play games... do surveys. smiling smiley
We bought our girls unlocked iPhone 12's outright for Christmas directly from Apple Their sim cards are arriving Friday. My husband and I have Samsung Galaxy's that are a few years old. Serves our purposes. We use Mint for data. Saves us a bundle and best of all, we are not locked to a specific provider. My girls love the iPhone. I prefer Android.
I got my dual screen for my LG phone. I'm not sure how to use it.

Do you mean that you do not know how to attach it? Do you mean something like... hah. Now I can keep downloaded loa's,pog's and other usefui info in front of me when I am merching and entering data into an app on the other screen.. There is no more need to tote paperwork, toggle, have two open docs on one screen, or otherwise be fussy, messy, and inefficient. And now, all we need is a robotic arm to hold and pose items for pics so that we need not carry more than the phone.

What.

I know how to attach it, but not sure which screens and apps could benefit from the dual screen.

Since when?
I did a search for smartphone made in usa and Apple came up. I was told Motorola was made in usa but neither one is made in Usa.
Not even American cars are made in the US.
