OMG. I *so* wanna be where you are. It's really HOT here today. And I love absolutely *everything* you've made!!! smiling smiley

We're having left over bean soup I made over the weekend, and some grilled cheese sandwiches. The bean soup is really the Bear Creek Navy Bean Soup Mix (I like their soup mixes!) but I added some stuff to it. Oddly, I don't feel there's enough beans in it; so I add some canned navy beans (drained & rinsed). I also add either ground beef or ground turkey (turkey this time) that has been salt & peppered. I drain some canned corn and add that. I also chop up a butt-load of yellow onions, cook them with the ground meat, and add those, too. Dad & I love it, and even my nephews do! smiling smiley

I'm already starting to try to figure out tomorrow. smiling smiley

It was a beautiful night for some barbecue. Chicken legs, steamed broccoli, fried potatoes and locally grown tomatoes. My brother from another mother brought along some kind of cake. I abstained, but it looked damn goodsmiling smiley

Tonight, I grilled non-imitation chicken thighs, leftover grilled corn repurposed into salsa, and arugula salad with fresh tomatoes.
My leftover grilled corn got tossed with tomatoes and basil for a salad to go along side some sliders. Quick and easy tonight.
